DSP can’t keep up with the younger creators dominating TikTok, YouTube, and Twitch. The energy, the creativity—it’s just not in him anymore. He’s a relic from a bygone era. People watch most of their content on their phones now, and DSP just doesn’t fit into that world anymore.

Phil is such a great motivator nowadays. Every minute I spend watching him I make sure to double those by doing something productive.

He actually makes me want to clean my toilet. It's that shit of content that I would rather go do something I put off like yardwork because I feel like I'm having my time robbed from me and need to make it up.

You know what he said today? That he won't play System Shock Remake anymore. That he has had someone ask him at least once a month about going back to it(wasn't me I swear), and he goes MEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh, and that at least he got to try it and that he probably doesn't like those type of games! That motherfucker not only ropes his fans along, but he ropes every viewer on this type of shit! That, BITCH.

Very well-written summation of DSP. Despite all of his smug, self-aggrandizing behavior I still just end up feeling bad for him. On some level I think he understands the stuff you said to be the case, but the desperation and sheer non-stop panic to remain on top of the sliver of his ship that hasn't sunk yet is still the front he lives with. I always believe that people never 100% fool themselves with self-delusion but god damn he is going to try until he drowns.

I'd argue he was never creative in the first place. Or rather his ceativity peaked in early highschool (at best) and never evolved. This is what Itsagundam said in one of his early lore streams. DSP never evolved, he never changed. It's still the same conent just with flashier Lights. Basically putting lipstick on a goutridden bloated pig. It is still a bloated pig but some might think it is a better Looking pig. Warski said the same during the snakening "Know who you are online. I have evolved several times over my Career". And Warski knows how it is to really claw himself back up from rock Bottom. DSP never really had that. He is just falling and falling and falling (like in the Telltale gmae Jurassic Park where one Character tumbles down a hill and keeps falling because you fail the QTE's)

Just imagine being in any sort of emergency scenario and how this guy would be the first to throw you under the bus, take the last escape pod, leave you to get eaten by the walkers, take the last of the rations despite not knowing how to use them etc. That's how I look at it. Phil is a deceitful selfish coward who has had way too many chances. There are no more checkpoints or save states he can set on a daily basis. People remember things and he seems to think everyones an actual NPC and he has 10 CHA.

He would be the first to be exiled in my tribal community full of beautiful amazon women(white) who don't wear anything but thongs, because he is an actual burden and detriment. Thank god he just sits in a tiny room all day and has been recording all his bullshit because there's at least something to learn from Phil other than TIHYDP videogames.

Watching him has given me a great disdain for people who do nothing with their lives and sit in a purgatory of their own making forever shackled by imaginary chains preventing them from doing anything about it. I think a lot of people have a point in their lives like that, maybe a few years or maybe they have it more than once, but DSP is remarkable for being in that state for so long - and you see it day in and day out and see how angry it can make you and others watching it... it does make me notice it more in the world.

Keemstar was spot on with the "you're stuck at level 1" insult. It wasn't so much an insult as the most accurate description of DSP there is.
It's still hilarious though because DSP goes through a cycle where he insists that he has changed and then a few days later insists that he is still the same.

And what's funny about how he burns bridges, especially with Kino Casino is that he then acts like it was a tactical and strategic decision yet tries to rebuild the exact same fucking bridge but with someone else. That is basically what happened with Keemstar; DSP rejected Keem for whatever bullshit reason he came up with then goes and does the exact same thing with KC, then tries to ultimatum them and gets told "go fuck yourself" and then immediately tries and goes to do the same thing with other people.

Where it anyone else who actually had qualities or values to protect, that kind of attitude would almost be admirable but DSP has never had any values or qualities that were worth protecting in the first place. Every insult and claim he throws at "every other khantent creator" about being a paid shill or children's entertainer applies doubly and triply to himself.

The way DSP builds, destroys and rebuilds bridges must appear as something like this in DSP's mind:

But when other people look at what he does, its nothing quite like Inception... it's more like a vortex. An autism vortex.

The part of me that feels bad for DSP is that he is an alcoholic and has an extremely self destructive addiction to gambling (for nothing except sweaty wrestler JPEGs). That seems to be his only motivator for his entire life. Which is fucking sad.

Regarding him burning every bridge, I think he's always been insecure about people who get more attention. This dude had the gall to claim he didn't watch AVGN despite being nothing more than a AVGN clone. But he never had an ounce of the charisma of James amd always came off as a poseur. It's just so odd that he's never willing to adapt and his immediant reaction is be a contrarian. From other content creators, to other platforms, to something as simple asbuilding LEGO. Did you all see when he was putting a piece on backwards and he damn near banned a dude who was trying to tell him he was wrong? It's the worst quality of any human I've seen, andhe actually thinks his "crotchety obstinance" is an endearing one. I really do wonder what went wrong in his childhood to make him this small.

As time proceeds, Phil and Amberlynn Reid converge into being the same person. They're so similar it is unreal; they have similar desires and cadences.

This marathon was by far the worst. He was so entitled and there is a new tactic he does which he copied from PPP. PPP does this sarcastic gaslight for donations and it is clear that he is joshing but Phil does it, and because he does not know timing (AUTISM) It sounds like a threat.

I am not kidding you when I say he wants to turn his channel into endless Q and A, but he honestly does. The problem is that at that point it means the detractors eat good because people would look for a new voice to acco[may his irritating voice.

PWR is eating into his viewership, though, and is actually entertaining.

You've hit on a point here. DSP basically retconned the Drama Blood Money argument while he was doing stuff with KC. Why wasn't Khet able to dissuade him from Casino cash like she was able to keep him from Keem's 50k? Keemstar offered contracted "life-changing" money for DSP and his "family". KC offered Doordash-style gig work so DSP could buy a crown and RGB lights for himself.
