Phil likes his father and looks up to him. His father was one who got him that nice office job. On other hand he seems to despise his mother. She smoked in the house when he was growing up and when she was pregnant. He has told stories where she got really drunk in public. I think he gets all of his personality traits from his mother. He has said in past that his mother always has to be right in an argument DSP has never filmed his father but he did film his mother once in a video a long time ago.

Last parent-related thing I remember was a month or two ago when he was trying to get them to sell his condo or be the on-site managers for it once he sold it or something. Seems like they're still pretty close.

Also good ol' slowbeef managed to sneak in a jab at Phil for jerking it on camera in an article he wrote for Polygon about pewdiepie, complete with a link to a video. Gotta appreciate the small stuff.

PewDiePie isn’t remotely the only e-celebrity to have this sort of scandal, though most controversies tend to be a bit smaller in scope.

Did you ever hear about the streamer who got drunk and told her fans that kids getting cancer was just natural selection? Or the two YouTubers who conveniently forgot to tell their fans they were getting paid for their Ryse gameplay? Or that guy who got caught masturbating on camera during his pre-show? This stuff happens with regularity.

phil really loathes his mom, he had said before her mom is a "can never be wrong" kind of person. phily boy clearly has mommy issues

Keep in mind this is being done to appease people wanting to get their advertisements out there. What YouTube probably definitely cares about at this point is making sure ads are on videos that those people will be ok with. I would guess ensuring this can't be used to artificially demonetize videos as an attack is a second concern that will come later.

Phil's cockroach luck is absurd. Not kidding when I say his luck rivals that of Chris Chan's.
Not to mention the fact that people have calling for DSP's end ever since 2015 and yet he's still going. It's almost a meme, "DSP's career is gonna end soon" Nope, not likely.

The interesting thing is that he's declining in nearly every aspect. But he's still fucking doing this.

YouTube views have been for years- but for the past few months his subs stopped going up and started going down. Twitch live attendance has declined since the first month he started in late November.

It's only been one month so we don't really know if Patreon will continue or if this is a response to temporary factors (tip me instead, REEE copyright strike money, sleazegoal, natural disasters charitable giving.)

Hell, the dude's Twitter follower count looks like he's starting to plateau and decline. How do you get people to unfollow you on Twitter? With their algorithms you don't even see all the people you follow's posts.

EDIT: Obviously YouTube ad revenue is declining too. Forgot that one.

I'm watching the latest Snort of him talking about the drama for the 300th time after saying he doesn't care and man he really isn't letting up this victory dance.

He's gloating that 'detractors' are apologizing personally to him in droves and implying that they may even be giving him money.

I hope nobody around here is this stupid.

He is lying, after Fred fuck up even the detractors are getting bored of him, there is going to come a moment when he is going to be streaming alone to entertain bots

It is sad but I could see it happening. Not in droves of course Phil loves his over exaggerations, but if people hopped off the Dsp bandwagon to Sok because of Phil's behaviors the same could theoretically happen in reverse. It may be more of Phil browsing things like Twitter and Kiwi and seeing people say Fred made Phil look good and right etc.
