But what brought David back to my attention was an unexpected find while researching notorious zoosadist Timothy George Amoroso. You see, @StyxHexenHamster1350 rediscovered a screencap he had of some comments on the channel of Randy Pepe, an infamous zoophile from the 90s and early 2000s.

This is a third-hand claim that Tim was friends with two men named Steve Rice and Aaron Myers when he lived in California. But it was interesting because it was made years before Tim was outed at large. So I looked into it.
Only two things appeared when I searched "Steve Rice" "Aaron Myers", which would only show results with both exact names. The first was a scanned newspaper article about two men who sexually abused dogs.

How did they associate these people with him? Well, while looking through his friends list, I quickly found this:

In fact, you can see that Steve Rice lived with David at 3851 Jollie Way at one point.
But perhaps they are by sheer coincidence other Steve Rice and Aaron Myers?
Well, these two both lived in Plumas County in the 90s, which is one of least populated in California, and just so happens to be where the case happened. But if there's anyone who can eliminate doubt, it's David.

The conclusion is that David Paul Ihnen was friends with and lived with two zoosadists charged with the sexual abuse of animals. Imagine my shock.
Also, I can say that David is aware of the thread and likely also his employer Rocket Partners; neither seems to care about its existence.

Aaron James Myers, convicted of sexually abusing animals in 1999 and whose association with David Paul Ihnen is shown a few posts above, has been conclusively outed as BoxerDog / BD Productions / 'Carl' from Petlust in 2 part posts.
It's a long and disgusting read, and though David is a relatively small part in Aaron's long, sick story, it is nonetheless an important one.
Aaron was also living with David, along with his old partner-in-crime Stephen Kennett Rice, in the mid-2000s. What's telling is that Aaron was appearing in Petlust videos as 'Carl', and given David programmed for Petlust, living together was very convenient. Aaron was also appearing in an onslaught of videos by infamous necrozoosadist Timothy George Amoroso. These were 'soft' videos but I'm almost certain he is also a zoosadist. I also find it virtually impossible that David wouldn't have known of Tim.
In other good news, David Paul Ihnen's actions are becoming known in the Fandom.

Skylos has an underdeveloped and incoherent sense of humor. It is as if he has no theory of mind. It need not be said (but I will say it anyway) that it is highly inappropriate to make incomprehensible, self-referential jokes at a funeral. If you are going to tell a joke, it might be better to make it about the person's idiosyncracies in an attempt to connect the audience with your loved one.

Considering that his last few tweets have been about his husband's trivial and supericial absence from his life, it's hard to imagine what kind of relationship they had: a mourning partner wouldn't go to Anthrocon to get his fur on, but an apathetic man might.

I've been meaning to sperge on David's antisocial tweets towards his coworkers at rocket partners for quite some time, but this was a good-as-any time to point out that, at the heart of it all, David is an ascerbic, self-absorbed man whose attention-seeking behavior encourages him to over-share the sordid details of his life. Would a humble and confident man choose to make his xitter profile a picture of his oversized truck? Would he brag about Jacoco unit test coverage and take a literal screenshot of it? Would he start his own AMA theead on reddit about, of all things, his experiences working at Petlust?

TL;DR Dhugal forced them to go to a grocery store at 4 am only to change his mind upon arriving; Dhugal proceeds to follow the friend from room to room shrieking in their face and cornering them - the friend only lightly pushed them away; Dhugal evicted this friend afterwards; both Dhugal and David are inconsiderate of said friend's many aliments.
David of course dismisses all of this. Another (former) friend chimes in - 'Buddy', the guy David sewed children's pajamas for. David misses him :(
