Devon Del Vecchio / "Dev" / ShortFatOtaku / @sleepy_devo - Degenerate loser, honorary whiteknight for Lilith Lovett, constantly at odds with his own viewers for being a centrist

He is like Vaush, Serfs and Kruat had a baby they abandoned in a dumpster on prom night, and that baby grew into SFO.
At least they'll debate people with differing views (or strawmen that they created in their head)
He skips right to the "No I'm right and if you think differently you're wrong"
Can't decide if that's lazy or immature.

My gosh Dev, it ain't even your country chill the fuck out. Your videos in the last few weeks haven't been that bad or outlandish, what the hell crawled out of your asshole that you're talking about gunning down civillians?

If Dev just presented his opinions as what he thinks, he wouldn't be in such a bad spot. Instead he defaults to "I'm right you're wrong and coping cope copium gigachad" so when he misinterprets something (which happens a lot) or when new evidence comes out he can't walk it back, he doubles down again and again and then writes up another script about how he will never be audience captured and he's standing up for his morals.

Latest to the list of things Dev doesn't understand. ROE's and optics. Unless, there is a direct threat to the VP's life, and I mean more than someone running towards him. Then you can't grease him. There is no way, that the Secret Service has looser ROE's than Iraq. Then you have the optics of it, the Secret Service and Capital Police going from room to room, greasing every boomer out for a stroll, is a bad look. Despite how hard his dick probably gets at the thought of it.

The fallout from that will then spiral, and get worse and worse. People will remember that massacre for generations. Especially since they would be massacring unarmed boomers. Now, I know that the fat from his arteries has probably spread to his brain. But even Dev should be able to see the point I'm trying to make.

In order for this situation to be in anyway acceptable, well, they wrote a movie on it:

The white house better be on fire worse than 1812 before the Secret Service starts handing out blank checks to kill everyone not the prez or the VP

Dev's main problem is he thinks being a centrist means you need to piss off both left and right the exact same amount. He is falling for "Goldilocks centrism" fallacy pretty hard, despite how much he pretends otherwise.

Sometimes a political side will be just flat out wrong and not have a redeemable point. It can happen, and admitting it isn't gonna make you any less of a centrist.

I think the reason for his sudden acceptance of USSS gunning down people in Jan 6th comes from the fact that a bunch of trannies have taken to do a "insurrection" of their own and that led to a discussion on the obvious double standard.

He doesn't realize that there is in fact right and wrong that politics can't explain, or one side is completely in the wrong. Sometimes shit is just bad. It's called morals. Jan 6 was horrible. No one should have died. In fact that caused more damage to the country than anything "Trump did". Likewise the trannies organizing their own event would just be a repeat.

Jan 6 was stupid but fine if not for the way the feds behaved. The only people who died during the whole thing were the protestors and it could have easily been avoided if the security services weren't such cowards.

The good thing about it was that for the first time in a long time the politicians felt the slightest bit of fear when they should always fear the people instead of passing unconstitutional laws and laughing about it as they break those very laws that they passed the same week.

This phenomenon really interests me. It’s becoming way more prevalent in commentary spaces about politics/social topics. The obnoxiousness of extreme left and right has been dissected endlessly, but not this.

His pals Sitch and Adam do this too (though I think Sitch is hiding his power level).

My point was it tore people apart even more. That is a tragedy. The good part you mentioned is true, but I wish it hadn't happened all the same. That's my point. It destroyed what little unity we had left. And what Dev advocates for would have been nuclear when the feds already killed people.

I think it comes from a genuine desire to be neutral and try and give both sides a fair chance. The problem comes when a "fair chance" simply does not cover it and ends up simply showing one side as being obviously wrong and the centrist start trying to "tip the scales" so to speak to try and maintain the balance.

A good example of this would be the Libs of TikTok take from Dev where he compared it to Chuds of TikTok. Left inability to meme aside, he tried to paint both as being the same thing and explain how this sort of exposing of people and "cancel culture" was bad on "both sides". Except for the fact that while Chuds was mostly posting random people on TikTok who might be right wing and the like, LoTT was posting people who are in positions of power and using it to push their shit. If Chuds had been posting policemen and judges and teachers talking about how they secretly try and enforce "conservative values" and the like he might have had a point, but it wasn't. It was random people spouting their opinion vs. teachers and intellectual class types spouting their opinions and how they admit it makes them biased on their function and how that is good.

I'm not really interested in unity with those that prop up people like Dylan and BLM. If anything, the uni-party has been the worst thing that has happened to the country and I'd be happy if federalism collapsed in favor of state independence.

You're thinking too hard into politics. I'm talking family, friends. Going to another state and it not feeling like home anymore. Is it too hard to accept that I'm happy at the final political outcome yet sad at the aftermath? Yes fuck the uni party. But I miss the feeling of home.

That's clown world man. And like it or not I live in it. And you misunderstand final outcome. It felt good seeing the congress chambers get bursted into, to finally shake things up. At what cost? I want to repair my home not burn it down. Now everyone there is locked in a cell. That wasn't the world I grew up in. It was the failures of people like Dev to take a stand against the crazy OR understand the otherside. I have lefty friends. I disagree with them on just about everything political. But I understand where there coming from. Because life is more than politics. It's experiences. Things arguments have little effect. I've learned to love my enemies while still opposing them. The world needs more of that. Not riots or secret service agents going terminator.

The thing I always found funny about the LOTT drama is all she does is repost tiktoks from people with already big followings. You would think as a content creator you'd love to get your content spread even further. But no these people freak out cause they know the wider world will find what they make vile and repulsive. "We're not transing kids....but please little middle schooler make sure your parents don't see this content!!!"
