This is a thing from the Pascal foundation that they're trying to make
"Diversity Kids is a fantastic animated series for today’s and future generations of kids to inspire, motivate, excel and help them and others overcome adversity in a multicultural world with confidence, love, understanding and empathy for all.

Proceeded from all “Diversity Kids” Dolls, Merchandise and Apparel will be donated to orphans and children in need from all around the world Resources, Education, Healthcare, Nutrition. Farming and Entrepreneurship as a vital tool to help and assist them through their transition and journey from childhood to adulthood."

"Alrighty, boys and girls! Who knows the best way to celebrate our diversity and show everyone that Black Lives Matter?"

"BY BURNING DOWN OUR NEIGHBORHOOD AND LOOTING LOCAL BUSINESSES!"

"That's right! Remember, you don't have to obey the law because all police are racists!"

20 years ago when the middle class still existed this kind of merchandising didn't feel so insulting. Nowadays the ones needing the economic help is that western middle class rather than the same third world shitholes that either embezzles the funds or use it to never improve their own situation. Maybe have Blackrock buy this shit-tier merchandise to fund gas for my car?

"Hey, Aaisha, why do you wear a hijab?"

"Oh, that's simple, Ling! In my culture, women are not considered to be people and must be covered at all times!"

"That's like my culture too! In China girl babies are considered worthless and they drown them when they're born!"

"That's really cool! DIVERSITY ROCKS!"

The tagline "We The Future" doesn't bode well for this being an educational programme.

Why is one of the My Little Ponies a girl now? And why is there a ... pirate?

Not to sound like a twitterfag, but i like how the diversity squad is like 5 white people and their token pet nog/sand nog.

Aimed primarily at kids aged 7 to 12, Diversity Kids is set at a boarding school that focuses on education and the arts, where a group of arriving students band together through their cultural and racial differences. The show is inspired by the lives and backgrounds of the 4Mat Factory founders and team.

Together with Media.Monks, 4Mat Factory is currently speaking to broadcasters in search of a partner with a focus on diversity, inclusion and representation for the project.

Yeah, it's another Neflixxx-baiting project by a bunch of unfuckable enbies, this probably won't get made.

I'm not sure how I feel about that, to be honest. These fuckups keep pumping out their odd fetishes under the disguise of kids shows, and they all crash and burn so satisfyingly it's almost a shame that this era is drawing to a close. There's no way something this blunt would capture the imaginations of 7 to 12 year olds - little babies could tell this was homework rather than a fun time - so clearly the target demographic is failure to launch weridos in their 20s and 30s who eschew anime as being somehow neo-nazi. And they won't watch it past the pilot episode anyway, so, really, what is the point of making more than one single solitary episode and then flogging $35 plushies as Twitter props?

Antony Haynes, creator of the series, said: “The characters of the show, Timmy, Sophia, Oscar, Nadia, Sam and Paulo, cover the ever-expanding spectrum of cross-sectional diversity, and it aims to normalize uniqueness and celebrate unity in all children in a lighthearted and cheerful way.”

How does one normalize uniqueness? I guess we'll never find out, Timmy.

I like how there's one token black kid. They seem to have 7 main characters and only one black kid. Hey Arnold had more black characters. There also seems to be no Asian kid. They also have 3 white kids on the table above everyone else. Does that mean they will always be above all the other kids?
