Remember when you were a kid and the slightest sign of nudity was enough to give you a boner? Yeah you do. Now we're desensitized and humor is the same way. Someone can type HAHAHAHAH and ROFLMFAO while straight faced.

What still makes you laugh and laugh hard? I can't find it anymore.

I've seen some bad movie reviews that had me laughing out loud. Seanbaby's Cracked articles about shitty self help books or romance guides have been known to leave me in tears of laughter.

My reaction is doubled tenfold if I'm in bed for some reason. At that time I easily laugh or squirm. At my PC, nothing. Very rarely a good laugh if I watch stuff like Mock the Week, but guess that's TV.

A good greentext story can still get me, although they are becoming increasingly difficult to find.

There's lots of dumbshit humor that originally comes from the internet that makes me laugh but usually I have to be in the company of one of my close friends, who happen to have the same sense of humor I do, and we have to be joking amongst ourselves.

There are sometimes some pretty funny things said on this site that make me chuckle.

I don't laugh much at written humor, but I don't think I ever did. Visual humor or spoken jokes and nonsensical imagery or surreal situations are usually what make me laugh now.

Very :autism:, but Garry's Mod machinima from certain creators still gets me rolling like it did 7+ years ago.

All humor is based on surprise and subverting your expectations. Timing plays a major but secondary role. If you've lost the ability to find things that amuse you, I strongly recommend masturbating more. I think there's a strong connection between being able to reach orgasm by yourself and laugh at the same thing with breaks in between.

I haven't laughed in sixty one years. Not since the war.

In all seriousness, seanbaby's old articles used to leave me in fits. There was one or two old episodes of monster factory. It becomes rarer each year.

I'm the same way with some threads on /v/. Funnily enough it's almost always involving Mario.

As much as I'd like to say I'm some ennui ridden E.M. Cioran reading, Yukio Mishima quoting dressed all in black faggot...I gotta admit, random stupid shit on YouTube will in fact make me laugh. Almost always unironically. Personal failing, I know.

Vine compilations, Vinesauce Joel, and important videos-type playlists and videos.

I am a child of sin.

Other people on the internet make me laugh but comedy organizations don't. Streamers, YouTubers, KF posts, some podcasters, niche content creators are super funny to me; Creators under a single company, Cracked is the best example, seem to lose my interest really quickly.

Speaking conventionally, it's like enjoying stand-up comedy but not enjoying Comedy Central.

Comedy Central is literally dying

They seem to be really leaning into politics. Like so many comedy groups, they just make the same shitty Trump jokes. I'm not a huge fan of Adult Swim either but they're trying weird shit all the time
