the super manga got fucked when they gave Frizea a new form (Frizea nig- black) and BTFO both Goku and Vegeta in one punch, running the powerlevel scaling yet again.

Black Frieza is already rivaled by Beast Gohan, and Orange Piccolo shouldn't be too far behind. Obviously Goku & Vegeta will catch up, especially Vegeta once he inevitably refines Ultra Ego.
The only problem now is the gap between the humans and...everyone else is insurmountable without some real ass pulls.

still not watched the new movie but i hate that Gohan keeps getting new forms without putting in any work. glad Big Green is getting some love (he looks like a Giga nigga now lol).

Yeah, it's pretty gay how he just gets forms handed to him. At least Piccolo deserves his but how he got it is pretty bullshit too tbh.

The power scaling has been pretty consistent, it's just that most fans are gay for big numbers and thus assume Goku became septinmillion times stronger between ssg and blue.

Meanwhile in reality, the blue saiyans and ultimate Piccolo are hovering around ultimate Gohan in the make-super-buu-look-like-a-pussy tier, which the Gammas are also in. A little less for ultimate Piccolo, but orange kicks him into ultra tier so it doesn't matter. It's funny how Goku needed two transformations to catch up to his son.

I'm sure a Goku vs Beerus rematch will eventually occur. I think it'll be dumb though, they'll just buff Beerus to be on Goku's level, because he does not seem to train and Goku is definitely stronger than him by this point.

This new show is pretty much a special for the 40th anniversary. Toriyama was always a fan of kid Goku and even liked the idea for it in GT, so its not a surprise that Goku will be a kid again... If this turns out like the OG series then its a win for a lot of people, while some Z fans will probably not like it. I just hope we get more martial arts and less transformations and beam clashes... The art and animations will also be great, as this has been in the making for 2 years now and everyone working on it is a top animator... The main animator has been praised by Toriyama, as someone that draws near identical to him in the past and he also designed the SSJ4. So the show should look amazing. Now, how the story will be, we will see, but I wont bitch about it 1 year before that, when no one has an idea what it will be.

Weird, I wonder why they'd ask him, it wouldn't be a canon answer anyway.
In fact, I doubt even Toriyama keeps track of scaling these days, it even looked like he checked out of that by the end of Z, which was a bit of a mess in that regard.
