Gave it a go, it's fun but Tarkov blows it out of the water when it comes to gun modification. Healing in GAMMA also felt janky the last time I played it.

Gamme is also all hosted on discord with tranny pedos, so have fun fucking around with those turds, all to get some shitty mod packs.

Same here. I bought standard initially but because I really liked the game I figured I would also by EoD. First time ever supporting a project by paying for the more expensive version. I feel like I just got fucked over by a lucky scav shot. What makes worse is that a friend of mine started playing the game after I recommended it. That was month before this and know I should refund him because battle state sure as shit isn't/

Plays far better than the actual game. Tons of mods that fix shit that’s broken in game, like AI, recoil (was fixed in SPT before regular game), optics, all that fun stuff. There are AI ‘pmcs’ with human-like programming (no clue how well that’s done, never played SPT but my buddies swear by it). I’d recommend it if you’re a solo gamer anyways, but for PVP gamers like me it’s pointless.

Do you know if it does wipes like the actual game? It would be cool not having to construct the hideout every wipe.

SPT is locally saved, so you wipe whenever you want. Sometimes you can even carry your save over to a newer version and continue from where you stopped.

I'm glad I stayed out of Tarkov a few years ago. I have some friends who play, and they're all furious. Today I looked up who are the top Tarkov streamers and checked out Twitch; all of them are refusing to play Tarkov and are trying out different games. Some of these people haven't played a different game in years. A few of them are even streaming SPT instead.

Again it's mostly because they don't want to get their shit pushed in if and when BSG comes for them. I doubt they're against piracy (especially after recent news) but like emulation sites they have to state that they don't support piracy. On that note, some retards actually are against piracy on their e m u l a t o r s, like that fork of Xenia called Canary (Xenia Canary technically) that did an ear deafening alarm when it "detected piracy." So who knows, maybe the folks at SPT hate piracy because they're fags.

Probably is, there servers are really unsecured for what they're doing so something as early released as the PVE raids there's most definitely going to be a loophole.

Early access and its consequences have been a disaster for gamer kind. Playing Tarkov made me realize just how badly I missed playing a finished and completed game. Made me notice that almost every game my friends and I interact with are in early access. "Money now, and POTENTIALLY a video game later" is a statement that would make Satan wince. It also poisons the fun I could have in those games, there's a reason why no one who works on developing a COD games actually plays a COD game. Then there's the fact the the development of your game is open to public opinion there's a constant back and forth on how the game should play and include. Let me clarify the situation in a little more detail regarding owners of the EoD version and access to the cooperative mode, and also other issues.

First of all, PvE gamemode this is not DLC. DLC in our understanding is the major additions to the game, including various functionality and content that are released after the official release of the game as a themed DLC pack (Scav Life DLC for example, which will add a lot of new mechanics and content for Scav gameplay and leveling).

Secondly, this specific functionality of the PvE mode is necessarily located entirely on a separate network infrastructure, because, essentially, you play on our servers, only in closed mode. At this stage, it is not possible to launch all players who are EoD holders - right now we simply do not have the required amount of resources for this.

We observe your dissatisfaction and have decided that the functionality of the PvE mode will be available for free to all owners of the EoD version at the release of the game, when the server infrastructure will be improved to the required capacity.

Now you have the opportunity to test this mode by purchasing the Unheard edition of the game, or upgrade to this version. We also decided to give a 50% discount when upgrading to the Unheard version from the EoD version.

We plan to send one free Left Behind Edition key to everyone who has already upgraded to Unheard Edition at the old price from the EoD version.

Moreover, so that any player of any version of the EFT can have the opportunity to test the PvE mode, we want to add the ability to purchase a separate early access to this mode. For EoD owners there will be a 70% discount on the purchase of early access to PvE. It would be interesting to hear your thoughts on this idea.

DLC in our understanding is the major additions to the game

Last time I checked a brand new game mode that the game has never had before is a pretty major addition to the game...

Popular questions that appear in this thread (and some from us mods) that I think need answering:

How is a new game mode not major content so therefore a DLC?

You said it was a feature of The Unheard edition but now you're selling access to it, this makes it a game feature? why was co-op offline , a purchasable game mode given free for EoD, yet "essentially offline co-op but with progression" is considered a "unique game mode" when it bears such an immense new layer to this game?
*is that not a "major addition to the game"?

Why did you not learn anything from arena, "we don't have enough servers" is the exact same excuse you used then, do you not think things like arena or the offline mode would be popular?

Why can we not run the PVE servers peer to peer? Yes this will still require server space to store profiles but that is a tiny fraction of the power needed to run full game servers

Why is there no way for people to self host PVE only servers if you don't want to do P2P?

But selling third party game copies is against your TOS? That isn't compensation, if they've bought Unheard of then they don't need a second copy of the game? Why can't they have a partial refund?

Are you able to share any more details about the item that lets you emergency summon friends into raids in PVP? There is a bunch of ways this can be abused, if you wipe all but one of a squad they can just load their friends back in, cheaters can abuse this to clear lobbies then call in people to collect the loot and so on

When is "full release" expected to be? "Full release" tells us nothing, this could be 6 months or could be 6 years

What's the DLC road map and timeline after full release? Again this could be 6 months this could be 6 years
