Their housekeeper of ~5years suffered from a hernia. She told hila in June that she was going to need a surgery in July. The housekeeper was fired 2 days after she told hila about needing time off.

The juicy part is it appears they commingled their personal funds with Teddy fresh. This will fuck them. Hope it fucks them good.

Teddy Fresh basically started as H3 merch. They do like to pretend otherwise and I won't lie, they did achieve a surprising amount of success for a random brand, but most of that was off the back of Frenemies fans. Also they were notorious for plagiarism

They did manage to do some things successfully, but their success was really overinflated by using H3 fans to buy their clothing and H3 money to promote the brand - including that embarrassing situation where Hila blatantly bought her way into Galore Magazine after Trisha got a cover in it.

It's impossible to separate Teddy Fresh from Ethan Klein, so if Ethan is going full bunny boiler over Hasan, it hurts the brand. Even if you could make some separation, Hila makes a point of visibly being linked to the brand - drops are announced by her personally wearing the pieces, and she talks through collections and their rationale on her Insta. I am so unsurprised the finances are mixed in, because once their ugly colour block hoodie took off, Hila got delusions that she was running an independent fashion company

It's a very boring complaint, to be honest. All of the statements at the beginning about Teddy Fresh are essentially the possible elements a court will consider in determining alter ego liability or "piercing the corporate veil." If a company is operated in a way that disrespects corporate formalities and the legal separation between an owner and a company, then the court will disregard the legal separation and treat the company like an alter ego of the owner.

The reason for this is just money. The housekeeper can get more money from Ethan and Hila (or be more certain in getting it) if she is able to hold them liable for any judgment. The actual allegations as far as I can tell are that she told Hila she was getting surgery, she was employed in such a way that she had contact with Teddy Fresh people for things like getting paid and other communications, and she was then fired.

It's very weird that she's talking to Teddy Fresh people about her housekeeping role. She says she was employed by them, but then says there are up to 20 other John Does associated with them whom she doesn't really know. There should be more allegations about the employment structure. It's mostly threadbare legal conclusions except for the basic fact that she was fired.

It's honestly very poor of a complaint, like a template with only a 5-10 new paragraphs stuck in by the lawyer. I wouldn't be surprised if half the counts could be dismissed immediately for failure to state a claim. It's still very nasty to do that to the housekeeper after 5 years. Says a lot about Ethan and Hila's vapid, LA-zapped brains to show that little empathy or human feeling to another person. Unless the housekeeper was gonna get shitcanned anyways, it makes them look terrible.
