Here is the thing I noticed about Jim. Jim's comedy is more or less roasting's. He likes to roast people, all in good fun in most cases though. It is a humor I see guys do a lot, roast each other in good fun. Jim probably does that with his friends IRL. Now most guys can take being roasted. Andy did. He took his roasting by Jim over his boxing match with good humor. Not Ralph though. Ralph can not take being roasted. Ralph becomes like Rodger from American Dad when he gets roasted.
This to me highlights how Ralph probably never had friends growing up as a kid. Especially male friends. Boys will constantly tease each other in good fun and then start to roast one another as they get older. Ralph never had a friend or any positive relationship with a male in his life. Which is why he can not take even a light hearted roasting at his expense. He is a very small, sad and friendless little man.
