Plus, I had the impression that she was clear she had no interest in him as beyond friends, rejecting his advances multiple times. The only reason Chris felt lead on is because he just doesn't get it. She could've told him bluntly that she wouldn't ever see him as a boyfriend but it wouldn't have sunk.

If all of us dropped off the face of the planet, if Null packed up bags and went home and the cwciki vanished into the ether, I highly doubt that Anna would talk to Chris much if at all.

She vacillates between enabling him in public forums for people in the forum to froth with anger over, or she outright mocks him (the pictures in his moms underweat, the crazy pacer, etc). She just wants attention, and if Chris (and her by proxy) stopped getting it, I doubt she'd associate with him.

I agree with a lot of this. I think Anna and Cole have a similar frustration in that they crave attention, but can only get it by riding PooBear's coattails.

The problem is that, ultimately, she's not getting any content. What people claim is trolling on her part isn't achieving any amusing troll material. With Chris, she's just asspatting him, but that asspatting isn't getting Chris to do anything funny and it's not having any significant effects. And with her trying to fuck with us, she's not really getting serious results either. I think people occasionally talk about how she's a dipshit, but it's not like she's really seriously pissing many people off.

I definitely think she gets off on the fact that there's 1269 registered users that talk about her on a regular basis. Without that, I doubt she'd be nearly as concerned with Chris. But, I also think she believes she's doing the "right" thing by ass-patting. I really doubt that she would encourage her mom to reach out with her own ass-pattery if she was just doing it for laughs. That would be an never-before-seen level of trolling.

Trolling implies intent and purpose, and Anna has never struck me as particularly purposeful. Even ween kids have a sort of plan to their actions even if they're incredibly stupid plans (1: Call Chris. 2: Yell "Julay!" 3: ??? 4: Profit.), but Anna never plans anything. She just responds to Chris.

So here's what I think Anna's deal is: You know how certain famous movie stars and rappers and suchlike tend to get entourages? Hangers on who follow them around but don't have any purpose whatsoever except to be there. Their own lives are so empty that they have to attach onto someone else's life like a remora and hang on for whatever that gets them.

That's Anna.

And just imagine how pathetic her own life has to be that she has to suck on to Chris' life. Though only from a safe distance, mind you.
