Yeah, that's exactly what I mean. Welcome to the internet I guess.
Was it ever confirmed if it really was that actress (forgot the name) that called him out on his self absorbed BS? I remember hearing it may have been a ween with a fake FB account.
You mean this?

All my "twolling" as we on Twitter call it is completely adorable and makes people smile. Christian's article makes me angry & disappointed. Hope I never meet the guy."

I believe that would be it. Here is a video to prove it.

Still, I wouldn't blame anyone for being skeptical since anyone can make up a Facebook account of someone else and try to pose as that person, then again that could actually be Tara Strong's Facbook profile in the video.

See that's the thing, we all have the odd little guilty pleasure, or maybe partake in something occasionally that's considered childish or the like, but for the love of God, I can't fathom how such a bizarre cult has sprung up around a cartoon aimed at pre-teen girls. It's not the fact that people much older than it's intended audience watch it that gets me, it's the level of obsession that they display in in using it as the cornerstone of their very identity.

It's extremely hard to describe, but the essence of the Brony fandom is out-of-touch neckbeards who think society views them as quirky hipsters. They're under the impression that society views them in the same light as they view casual "nerd" types that wear T-Shirts with retro pop culture references on them. The fandom started out with random Cartoon Network fanboys who liked Lauren Faust's previous work, then it turned into a Lil B (Based God)-ish "ironic" like of the show, and then spergs/pedophiles/furries got a hold of it and made everything even shittier.

I've always seen it as a bunch of outsiders trying to fit in with each other, relating through their common like of a kids show.

Edit: Lol. Stating the obvious, I know.

Thanks for that, I'd only ever heard about it via second hand info.

Really can't be bothered to go back and read this whole thread, but if nobody has mentioned Chris being a "friend of Dorothy," consider this it.

It's lazy but I don't care.

This is a testament to the Freudian truth that lies in the back of the worthless skull of every brony. They are all infantilist manchildren, exactly like Chris.
Wouldn't some other people say the have some desire to copulate with a horse, especially when they have their clop-art and all. I'm sure some people would have that thought.

oh geez, at first I thought he was giving us his new address: Tabitha Street, Germaine, Virginia. But Germaine, VA isn't a real city!

I just saw a few My Little Pony FIM episodes on youtube.

While not the greatest show I get its appeal. It is kind of cute and clever in small doses, and the characters can be pretty cheeky.

Of course I would never want to sit through a whole episode, and do question why some people feel the need to be drawn into a subculture based around it, and not one based on "Dexter's Lab" or "Johnny Bravo"

Less animals to fantasize about.
Doesn't mean there are creeps who fantasize about the main characters or even Mojo Jojo, the chimpanzee villain.

I'm amazed this thread hasn't been locked yet. Isn't there an internet law or something that says that the longer someone talks about ponies without being a fan exponentially increases the chance of you threatening someone? I just think it would be funny if she responded as Tara Strong did.

If Chris loves My little Pony, he would absolutley adores a show about a group of red maned deer who are best friends with each other

Maybe Chris sees a few similarities between himself and Judy Garland?

They're both women.
Both of them have/had horribly unhealthy lifestyles (Judy Garland was a life long drug addict).
Due to her unhealthy lifestyle Judy looked like she was 60 before she died at the age of 47, much like how Chris looks like a 45 year old despite being in his early 30's.

So what's stopping Chris from further engrossing himself in the MLP Fandom? Is he still a hater of all men, even the ones who share his biggest interest? I think by now he'd have made a couple of Brony friends to asspat him on Failbook.

Fantasizing about Mojo Jojo is creepy? Well color me embarrassed.
Somewhere out there, someone wants to give Mojo Jojo their banana if you know what I mean. :tomgirl: :pickle: :pickle: :pickle:

It's primarily online, probably. In practice, most people overestimate Chris' issues with men. He doesn't hate them as much as most people think.

does anyone have any news on fire recovery efforts?

Looks like someone didn't get the memo. Ms. St. Germain is a great voice actress compare to Judy Garland.

You know that I'm being sarcastic right? :julay:
