The main evo channel had no fighting games every time I checked it today. I didn't check the schedule, but I expected more. The ads were up at all times tho.

Hold the fuck up: We have tourneys for shitty, forgettable fighters, a recently released P2W free Smash clone, and garbage games no one took seriously, but no Chaos Breaker or even the most broken af HnK game?! I know CB isn't popular, but fucking Nick All Stars?! I didn't know what some of these games were since I stopped playing fighters 5 years ago, and god damn the fighting game genre really turned to shit (I heard about DnF and GranBlue, but I'm not interested in playing anymore Arcsys games). I didn't miss much.

Because MK is woke trash that almost became a $60 p2w mobile game, and the usual participants are probably going to win (or the NRS prize pot sucks this time? I dunno with Warner Discovery doing cuts.). MK2 , UMK3, and UMK3 MUGEN mods are the only real MK games being played (the ones that don't have retarded OCs or the cast from the PS2 and Woke Kombat era games unless it's a popular character like Hotaru), but no one really wants the older games to get touched. Since X, MK has been pretty bad.

Geoff became a cucked bitch since he worked for Iron Galaxy and moved to Commiefornia. He tried to virtue signal for some thot that got in trouble years ago only to get mocked and ridiculed by people on twitter (Sadly, it's lost in time, and I think Geoff might have deleted it to save his ass). He basically supported SF5's ceonsorship with Maximilliandood saying all the whiners are whiny manbabies that needed to grow up (I could be wrong, but I think he also likes Anita Sarkeesian). He was going to do some stuff for KI, but if you tried to talk to him about it on Twitch he sounded like he wanted to be done with that shitty game (to be fair, I don't blame him). When he was at IG, word is they told him to know his usual troll antics, and he got really pissy if anyone brought up or whined about the Arkham Nights PC port:

Thank christ I stopped watching MaxDood's videos when he started to creame his pants over SF6 like a soyboy faggot. I had no idea he supported the SFV censorship.

When he just plays fighting games, it's fine, but it's when he opens his mouth that things get a bit fucky. Even when the writing is on the wall, he likes to be TOO optimistic with his predictions and still support piece of shit devs like Capcom by consooming their shit products while telling everyone to do the same thing.

Side games are all community run. Complaining about people not playing your game as a side game is literally complaining that no one cares about a game that even you don't care about enough to keep playing fighting games.

EVO is run by the same guy that ran CB now. Masks are definitely required, but even if you aren't part of the mask cult, the FGC is chock full of Covidians and people who are really into the idea of hiding their face during regular social interactions.

Skullgirls was a great game. Alex Ahad's art is top-notch, and Mike Z is a true-blue fighting game mechanic genius. Just a shame about that deal they made at the crossroads. In another timeline, we're on Skullgirls 3 Revenge and Alex has started tooling around with their new animation studio making actual cutscene endings for arcade mode. In this one, the heart and brain were divested from the corpse and it was made to go on living.

Also lol at Sony buying Evo just when it becomes irrelevant. Wish I had bank money to throw at boondoggles.
