Looks like the original trap may not be a trap any more. The english localized character bio doesn't mention Bridget's gender or refer to him as a male besides a few references to him being a son for the sake of plot consistency.
This shit is so fucking clunky to read because of how deliberately the localizers kept shoving Bridget's name into places where a "he" or "him" would flow naturally. They really didn't want to let anyone know that Bridget is a cross dressing boy. Why the hell are Americans so fucking afraid of any pronoun besides "they"?

Accord to Umisho's Twitter bio, Umisho also uses she/her pronouns, which afaik means he's 100% a chick and you can't ask any questions right? And as far as I can recall, there hasn't been a female EVO mainstage game champ before...

I'm thrilled to see Bridget back and apparently still a guy, but he's around 20 now. Why hasn't grown up since the last time we saw him? Or stopped cross dressing since he's old enough and successful enough for that to no longer be something he's forced to do according to his own blurb?

Tekken’s wasn’t bad, though the pools were a bit more interesting. Knee going back to the character he hasn’t really touched since 2017 and sweeping the thing was kinda fun.
I’m eternally glad that Bamco hasn’t courted the troons the way Capcom and Arcsys have.

Tekken 7 seems to be the more appealing fighting game these days. I also like how in tourneys they do 3 out of 5 rounds for every match which makes them last longer. IDK why other fighting tournaments don't do that.

Yeah, I think I wash my hands of Strive. I initially defended it during the betas and on release but, I can't anymore. The game has sucked the passion out of fgs for me.

Same. While I am interested in SF6 since it seems to be the only fighter that's actually adding instead of gutting, Strive's simplification and every jap fighters atrocious networking has really put me off.

You're better off playing DNF Duel which is at least MVC levels of fucking stupid. Strives attracts the faggots too which, as a bisexual myself I want nothing to do with.
