After seeing all this erp shit I gotta thank my lucky stars.

Back when I played I did a male Mi'qote and I joined server Wutai.

Back than there was ERPers but most of them were out of the way. They weren't all that in your face about and were pretty chill about it. I remember being explicitly warned to stay away from Hrothgars and lalafells though.

I o remember my free company G having a Wutai chapter headquartered in the Stormblood housing area. They had a fully furnished strip club in the basement and members were marrying each other in-game. I even got invited to a couple of marriages.

Ff14 is the only game that ive been considering changing the race of my character(Lalafell) because of the weird advances and message i sometimes get from degenerates fucks inviting me to thier houses or """ house parties""". It can get annoying after awhile and it sucks because sometimes i want to be social(in an mmo? Thats crazy!) But often i encounter creepy fucks or creepy fucks just interject or randomly appear in said interactions. Also if someone says "Chocky Milk" banned them on sight.

I've seen people posting that type of shit on Twitter (i.e., sudden mod loading jumpscares like that where someone randomly turns into some monstrosity) and, Jesus Christ, those mods and that Mare link stuff almost makes the game indistinguishable from VRChat in some regards.

EDIT: I was looking through that subreddit out of morbid curiosity to balk at these manmade horrors beyond my comprehension, but this one I found just made me chortle. That title is pure gold.

The funny thing for me is I play a male miqo, and I've never had any pestering either. I think I've literally only ever had one other person (maybe two) stop to compliment my character. And it's not like I made him an ugly character, either. I just don't dress like the usual faggots in beachwear.

Male Au Ra (they seem to be the harassers, not the ones being harassed)
Female Elezan
Female Midlander
Female Hrothgar (hroths are mostly furries, and most furries are gay. Also they're ugly)
Male Miqo'te (move a few slots down if you dress like a slut)
Female Highlander
Female Roe
Female Miqo'te and Au Ra (they're a dime a thousand so you might just be ignored)
Female Viera
Male Viera
Male Hrothgar (degenerates fucking everywhere)
Lalafell (less harassment than others, but it's the worst kind of harassment)

Nah, Male Roes should tie with Male Hroths considering that they were the go-to gay bara race for people before Male Hroths were a thing.

Fem Hroths should also be a few pegs lower as these people are proving to be significantly degen. Female Roes should also tie with Female Vieras as most of the people who play them often go for the whole "Giantess" and "Futanari" things.

Male Midlanders should be top of the list as they are absolutely the most ignored race. Male Elezen should probably go a bit lower since Aymeric and Estinien have changed a lot of the gays, fujos, and generally brainrotted female playerbase's minds on their attractiveness.

Face sculpts are a thing that exists and sculpts of similar aesthetics are actually quite popular among modders. The more "weird Kpop/Kdrama-looking" or "IMVU-uncanny valley" they are, the better for these people.

Almost all of the cases of a "Dear God Why" modbeast are commissioned by the degen in question instead of being public.

They're all also within the bounds of the Mare Synchronos TOS so you can't tell them to fuck off to Loposync, the only way to have that happen is them having more than 5 pixels depth of breast on a lalafell since the other reason to get banned (Crashing other players' clients with absurdly high polygon counts) has been mitigated to the point that it doesn't happen anymore.

I have no idea what kinda black magic modders are using to modify an MMO and I'm blown away by how Sqenix isn't going balls to the wall with bans. I can understand plug-ins and qol but I can't see how Sqenix isn't doing anything for model changes.

It's an MMO. It utilizes the traditional server-client format so I don't know why Sqenix hasn't done any server side changes to moderate model changes. How hard isn't it to monitor and record polygon/model/texture loads?

It's called Dalamud. Look it up in both threads.

And the model changes are done through Mare Synchronos, you need to both have Mare, Glamourer, Penumbra, (And also Simple Heels and Customize+) installed and have both of your Mare codes linked in order to see this happen.

SE has actually addressed the model changes, their only response was "Please stop with the lalafell nudity". They haven't banned, or taken any legal action against players who are selling said NSFW lalafell mods (Or other paid mods for that matter)
