Unukalhai is literally involved in those role quests and he MOVES to the Crystarium after doing the Shadowbringers Void Quests.

They usually don't touch NPCs that aren't involved in quests. That's a generic NPC, Unukalhai is a Lore NPC.

You say that, but I actually remembered that for the brief period of time between your exile in ARR and for most of the Heavensward MSQ before you exposed the Crystal Braves for what they are, the generic crystal braves NPCs and even some of the random NPCs in Ul'dah (and probably other city states, though I never actually went and checked all of them, just a neat tibit I remembered from my first jaunt through HW then) would either go "oh shit it's the WOL please dont kill me" and "oh you're not supposed to be here but wink wink we never saw you".

Like I said, there used to be a pretty good attention to details for these sort. It is understandable they eventually gave up, since the scope of the game grew massively since then (with entire new regions of NPCs, you probably have tens of thousands of them at this point.)

yeah i'm not denying that i'm heavily autistic
please don't ask me to explain how crafting formulas work though, the only concrete information i have to go off of is from late stormblood/early shadowbringers and expert crafts didn't exist back then

The weird thing is that XIV writers tend to be pretty good in updating small details like these, so it really stood out that they didn't bother to update this guy post-Endwalker. Also the Grandmother Xaela in the steppe used to say things based on your quest progression that foreshadow later events, but it was all leading up to Shadowbringers and her unique dialogue stops early on in there, then changes after an early Endwalker quest since Cirina shares a dream the grandmother had related to Endwalker. She also foreshadows the WoL being Azem the shepherd to the stars.

I know Stormblood didn't really exist on Steam back then but I wonder if it would have been similarly divisive. Probably not; I think most here are in agreement that it's a flawed but still fun xpac. The seas part for we alone!

I can confirm it existed at the time because I pre-ordered it, It wasn’t only us but the community as a whole found the expansion as meh.
And I honestly have a more positive view towards it than most people as we wouldn’t have Bozja without it and that they were really experimental with the cutscenes and raids and was further refined at Shadowbringers.

Speaking of cutscenes, despite DT being basically a fucking movie it somehow did less with their camera work and animation to a point that it felt like fucking ARR.

This troll was notorious for visiting NSFW RP venues and causing trouble. I used to go clubbing with this faggot when I was heavily into RP.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, they would make bagel gifs and spam them in a discord server full of retarded bagel enthusiasts collected from sketchy party finder advertisements.

He would use his personal army to invade random discord servers and spam them with bagel gifs.

In FFXIV chat, this person would spam links to a Youtube channel full of musical animated shit posts about a bagel that lived with a pineapple and various inanimate objects
that would come to life for musical purposes. Most of the music was composed by Susan, who also collaborated with retards on soundcloud.

Susan deleted a lot of their content from the internet before it could be archived anywhere and stopped playing FFXIV shortly before the Dawntrail expansion.

There is actually cool stuff to find in the Gyr Abania maps and some really nice looking locations hidden up in the mountains, but there's almost no incentive to explore once you've unlocked flying. We should've spent the first half travelling through the hills hiding in monasteries, crossing old rope bridges to avoid Garlean patrols. Then going onto the main roads when we were ready to liberate the region.

I remember speculating with my FC on some of the shit in the Gyr Abania maps and hoping it'd be relevant to something. Like that giant ship that the founder of Sharlayan used to escape the flood. The FC's theory is that'd it'd become a dungeon at some point, but nope it's just forgotten like so many other things.
