Some time ago there was a man active throughout the German-language internet who was very much like Gail Schuler, in that he was obviously schizophrenic and believed that there was a huge conspiracy against him.
He always used the pseudonym "clavacs", a play on his RL name Johann [sometimes shortened to Hans] Klawatsch. If you type "clavacs" or "Hans Klawatsch" into Google, you may still find some remnants of his activities.
Clavacs had formerly been the head of a small construction company, who had decided to become a philosopher - he had written several books on his personal philosophical views, which were neither well-written nor very original (basically a mix of esoteric stuff about the unity of man and cosmos and some run-of-the-mill left-wing ideas about bringing out people's creativity and protecting the environment). Of course, these were produced by vanity press.
Initially clavacs signed up to many forums in order to generate interest in his books, his posts read like advertisments (which they basically were). Many forum admins reacted unkindly to that and told him to stop that self-promotion. Clavacs reacted very arrogantly, telling everyone that he was the greatest thinker of the last 2000 years and that people had to admire him... and buy his books! After some time, it became obvious how deep the mental rabbit hole was. Clavacs believed that the government was after him, terrorizing him with microwave beams in his own home, watching his every step with miniature cameras and causing him harm day and night. When he tried to sleep, the government beamed nightmarish scenes of torture and rape into his brain (or so he believed).
Some people got very rude with clavacs, telling him effectively to piss off, mainly though because he was very aggressive and insulted everyone on the forums he frequented. Others tried to reason with him, trying to convince him that he was sick and should see a psychiatrist, which just prompted him to call these people government agents.
Clavacs stopped being active on the internet some years ago. The last I heard about him he has emigrated to some place in South America, probably because he thought that the German government couldn't get him there with their microwave beams and miniature cameras.
Anyway, I sometimes ask myself whether it would have been best if people had played along with clavacs? "Yes, the government is a crapshoot, everyone knows that, they supress independent thought, especially when it comes from a genius like you, clavacs..." etc. At least, it wouldn't have made clavacs angry like suggestions about seeing a psychiatrist did.
I recently read in a book that the optimum environment for schizophrenic patients is a low-emotion one, that is, with some friendly people who don't pay too much attention to the patient and his stories, just listen politely from time to time and are friendly but not too involved.

They've done bad things and they've done good things. Even without the trolls Gail would still be batshit insane and having telepathic sex with Brent Spiner and Vladimir Putin. Personally, I think she is doing a lot better since the trolls got her on meds and welfare and managed to stop her from wasting thousands of dollars on supplements to cure a yeast infection she didn't even have.

Anyways if you have grievances against your sisters trolls you can always post them here. I recently had my violently schizo cousin stay over my house for a couple weeks. I know how difficult it can be to have a family member with this disease so I hope people don't give you shit for being a bad sister or whatever.
Personally I don't know enough about the situation to really have an informed opinion. If only the Crazy Gail wiki was up...

I thought it would be fun to post this. When Gail discovered that Robin Williams had died, she quickly started hearing his voice in her head from heaven. He told her what REALLY happened to him. She just finished writing a small book about what happened to Robin Williams, and I'd encourage Gail fans to purchase a copy (less than $5) to support Gail.

Gail's situation makes me sad. She reminds me so much of my previous next door neighbor. Gail even looks like an older version of her.

Except in Gail's case, the voices are all praising her and telling her she is the sexiest woman alive, or that she's won another nobel prize in something that she likes to do. In my opinion, that's what makes Gail such a unique case. She isn't tormented at all by her condition. Even when the voice of Zack Knight shows up to say things to her, it reinforces her beliefs that she is import and and desirable. If any voice does happen to say something she doesn't like, she has "lightning bolt powers" that Jesus gave her, and she can shoot lightning bolts at them and make them go away.
Thomas McGovern, the guy that is making a Gail documentary, got Gail on film demonstrating her powers. It's pretty amusing, but probably one of the best mechanisms a person with mental illness could ever have.

I'm legitimately surprised that Gail hasn't said all that much about the situation in the Ukraine beyond the shooting down of Malaysia Airlines flight 17.
I'm wondering if Gail's actually having some degree of cognitive dissonance over real-world Vladmir Putin's statements and actions compared to what fantasy hunk marriage list Vladmir Putin "told" her brain-to-brain? Like, she'd probably say she thinks the bad Putin is the clone to make herself feel better, but she might not entirely believe it deep down.

That is why I'm so interested in Gail. I'm also fascinated by the elasticity of her narrative and how it adapts itself to any situation that Gail could ever face. Her delusions of grandeur are totally immune to logic and any "plot twist" can be accommodated. Gail seems to twist the plot seamlessly.
Listen, I'm a chronic lurker turned member just to ask this question: When is the Crazy Gail wiki coming back? If only I had known about that wiki sooner because I remember stumbling upon Gail when she had barely any attention from the internet and I was so excited to learn about the wiki.

One thing I never got with these conspiracy theorists is why would the Illuminati keep killing their biggest money-makers they could manipulate even more? If they want a sacrifice, why not go for a less famous person? No conspiracy theorist is going to link the deaths of Lauren Bacall and Ann Davis to them.
