Is it actually clickbait though when he IS the reason they caught him? One of the main reasons if not the ONLY reason they caught him was because a fan of Nux was in the discord where the swatter was flexing. The fan then contacted Nux and agreed to sell out the swatter.

Plus how hard would it have been for them to make an announcement like "Hey someone is pretending to be us double check with me if you get a suspicious email". Nope instead they wanted to be all secret about it even if it meant more V-tubers getting doxed because they were apparently handling it behind the scenes. Which they didn't even do because they lost their copyright claim case.

Nyanners is mad because this whole shitshow made Vshojo look like idiots. Probably double mad because Vshojo management was kissing Nux ass, which is well deserved but that doesn't mean her or the talent need to show any type of praise or feel like they owe him one. All she needed to do was stay quiet.

Imagine being salty because someone took care of problem that was putting people's lives in dangers.

Same exact email I got, I've never been banned this fast from anything. The only thing I can think of is that I'm using a mail.com address but come on, that's not a guarantee I'm a spammer. I did send an appeal email but I doubt I'll get a response. It would have been nice to get on the call, even if not with Pippa with Tenma, I honestly wanted to ask her about maintaining a healthy work/life balance.

I think more cappipalists know about Yuni than the other way around. In Yuni's 12 hour stream people were legitimately saying 'should Yuni be accepting gifts from someone called Iamaracistman (love the name)?' Also when Yuni watched the joke video on YT later in the stream some of her chat seemed genuinely offended by some of it.

Pippa has dug into a her hole and there is no way it is gonna end well. There is a reason why you don't pander to 4chan and its because they will turn their backs on when they think you have done something wrong. You can be /here/chuuba without pandering.

Pippa wasn't around for early 4chan. I don't know when she got into it but if the age floated out there is right it was definitely on the descent to absolute shit that most of 4chan is now. Also pandering to 4chan now is pointless - the place is so infested with cancerAIDS that you can't even tell if people are being serious or joking half of the time. Shit /k/ used to be great and now I'd rather pull out my fingernails with pliers than go on there. Also a v-tuber board? Get the fuck out of here. Cover me in rainbow paint but my guess is that won't happen. She is growing, not by huge numbers but enough and PC Gen 2 *might* be a boost for her but I don't think she really wants to appease anyone since she fairly regularly tries to filter her audience. Now what PC wants her to do might be a different thing and I hope she doesn't self-sabotage herself at some point to get the boot. Also I'm biased as hell on this so grain of salt etc etc.

Also I want to see Pippa play Metal Gear Rising and will push it every chance I get. Are the music permissions still fucked in the US or is that just a Japan thing?

To be fair, catering to that audience might work in the short term, but once you reach a certain level of popularity it becomes a case of diminishing returns if not wholly detrimental. Cancellation has gotten to the point that if you don't cut ties cold turkey you're just asking for your life to be legitimately ruined.

Cancellation only affects people who care about it. That said I think you can only grow so much without appealing to a wider audience.

Makes me wonder what this thread's darling, Pippa, would do if she started gaining popularity. How long could she ride the 4chan/kf/lolcow train before she'd have to abandon it to continue growing? What would the reaction here be, especially if she specifically posted or streamed condemning what goes on here to try to appeal to the normies? I feel like it would be a similar situation to nyanners if that happened.

I feel like she's too terminally online and going by things she has said and by her sense of humor, it might be very hard for her to suddenly act as if her shit didn't stink.

Because like every new game the girls get permission to play, they all jump at it. Also, the fact that there might be tournaments planned in the future is also another reason.

People talking about if Pippa makes it big will vt / the farms hold her back. She freaked out when 200 people were watching her stream and chat was moving too fast for her. I think she'd be curled up on the floor having a panic attack if she tried to stream to a huge audience.

That aside, the most common sentiment I've seen and the one I hold is that she never should have explicitly mentioned us. And given that bridge is crossed, if she eventually has to move away it's understandable. The one thing I would hope for is that she'd silently move away rather than throwing her current supporters under the bus.

She will get used to the fast chat with time.

Gonna randomly chime in regarding what Nyanners said earlier today (or last night, whenever it was) and say I agree with her over Cux Taku. He was incredibly stupid, shocking no one by the way, in releasing that video now. These kinds of things are *insanely* sensitive and should be guarded as closely as possible until everything is settled and squared away.

But he's a clout-chasing cringeman so that was never an option. He felt the need to grandstand and show everyone how "great" he is in the community, kinda like when he made that video whining about Coco's "unfair treatment" and "le Cover bad!" when he actually had no idea what he was on about (and don't forget he made that other video later saying how he's great friends with "Kuh-sawn").
