Was there a yab on Millie's "adult stream"? I tuned in for a few minutes and she was doing one of those alignment chart memes by letting chat control it with arrow emotes, which actually seems like a neat idea. I was gonna watch it, but the VoD went private, which seems like something might've happened.
She showed an ungloved hand when she was putting water in for the ramen section at the end. When people pointed it out, she laughed and said she'd be editing it out of the vod.

didn't check the thread in a day and almost 40 fucking pages, the vshojo retardation couldn't be that prolific alone but at least it wasn't the usual doomposting bs...

It really demonstrate the power the Holo brand and their fans have that a gen with barely time (HALF A DAY) to hype managed to make this big of a reception
I bet it's the horns, imagine if cover would've went full draph with her design (and again holy shit dat rigging)

Its a pun. She wanted her fans to say "Yes My Dark" as a greeting. When you shorted it, it became "YMD", which also can mean "Yamada". Yes, its quite retarded. Yes, the nips LOVE their puns and wordplay
I'm still waiting for someone to pull a gura and go "holo X? where are generations 6-9?!"

and only a matter of time before reddit going full HOLO XD

So, I'm unaware of whatever it is that is happening between Vshojo and Nux, could someone fill in an idiot on what's going on?
In favour of your own sanity and iq points, don't do it.

I had my hopes up the shitshow would die down but vshojo had other plans.
Thanks @Fujishiro Nageki for the editing

What is with these women and hands. Why wear gloves. Nobody's gonna identify you based solely on your fucking hand. What is even the point.

Hololive sponsors Disney now?!

That's a dangerous game they're playing.

I wonder who are the holomem's favorite pokemon, not including legendaries or mythicals.
Reine's is Shellos. I'm sure some autist can compile everyone's responses.

Take a break from all the drama and just relax with A-chan.
There are easter eggs in the video too. For the impatient, timestamps are in the comments.

RPR organized Crab Game collab was great. It was nice seeing that mix of Apex players, Nijisanji international branch members, and other agencies/indies. Definitely a lot more funny than I expected from such a big and chaotic collab.

Also, just got round to watching La+. She really reminds me of Kurone Yomi, who graduated from ReAct early this year. If it is her, HoloJP fans can look forward to some great karaoke and covers. Yomi has a powerful voice and good song selection.

I'd just like to correct you in that Connor's rant was that whatever you put in your resume doesn't matter if you can just get into an agency like Hololive and get guaranteed success.

No one is arguing that getting into a company is going to guarantee you some degree of success. The dumb part of his rant is that it implies you could have 0 skills/talents/knowledge, and Hololive will hire you anyways.

Imagine saying that you don't need a degree to get into a company like Google (whose recruitment tests are legendary because of their relative difficulty) or that you don't need a high GPA to be accepted into an Ivy League School. People are just clowning on Hololive because it's Hololive.
even that middle part is arguable. Look at anya, hell look at all of holostarts. They are all still pretty low with a huge company behind them . And if someone says it's because they are dudes I would like you to go look at who is the 8th most superchated channel on youtube ever. It's just that agencies like hololive have good recruitment people so talentless hacks (like connor) would never be able to join in the first place.

Anya has over 400,000 subs. She's in the Top 1% of V-Tubers. She is the 6th most successful ID member with the other 5 all being Hololive. Her live viewers are only low compared to others in her company, but that company is an outlier in and of itself. Everyone you mentioned has over 100K subs and enough backing to make it a stable job; Holostars in particular got wind in their sails from the residue hype of Western fans, and they're seen as an entirely separate entity within Cover. Arguing that that doesn't constitute as 'some degree of success' because it's levied against the likes of Pekora is true Holo-brainrot.

I mean, Holostars's problem is mostly that they aren't treated as a part of Hololive by management. They're run by the same company and are listed on the same website, but that's about it. Hololive big events, concerts, promos, collabs, etc do not include Holostars members. They have very minimal interaction with Hololive members (a few comments here and there and occasional collabs aren't much), and Hololive fans have no real impetus to ever check them out. Meanwhile Omega has a silver play button, something most vtubers can only dream of, despite having zero content on Youtube and essentially being a corpo vtweeter.

Nijisanji's guys started off as being less popular than the girls, but Nijisanji never treated them as a separate agency. In the end they managed to find their footing and are arguably now more successful than their female counterparts. If Holostars had the same treatment they'd be much bigger than they currently are, I suspect. The other explanation for why Holostars aren't as successful as Nijisanji's male streamers is that they're just not as talented as Nijisanji's male vtubers, which I don't believe and which would also go against the whole Cover having the best recruitment thing.

As for Anya, she's very successful for an ID vtuber.

In any case, it's kind of a silly discussion, since it is true that being in Hololive does mean that you'll get tens to hundreds of thousands of subs from people who don't know a single thing about you and may not even watch you that much but will click the subscribe button anyways, and it is also true that Hololive is not easy go get into.
