Most people in my circles got into Hana's content from all the clips of her shitposting father being recommended left and right by youtube.
Nobody gives a fuck about those two shills directly, but it's possible their shilling is what made youtube's algos recommend those clips so hard to everyone.

I'm kinda of two minds on it. Yes, it's doxxfaggotry, but it also doesn't mean anything to anyone who hasn't already seen the original picture, and it's incredibly unlikely to start people down the trail unless they have some sort of massive facial recognition database. With all the talk about NijiEN nepotism and all of that, I also wonder how many of the people there actually knew some of the Holos. Isn't Ina from Canadia-land also?

I mean, about 38 million people are from Canada, they don't all know each other. I doubt Ina knew any of NijiEN's Canadian members personally because Ina was not an established vtuber prior to joining Hololive. Same goes more generally speaking for all of Myth apart from Ame (yeah, I know Senzawa did stream, but I don't recall her being particularly well-connected to that side of the EN vtuber scene). I haven't seen much to link Council PLs with NijiEN PLs either.

The closest connection I can think of would be between Mori and Enna, as Enna was one of the winners of Mori's RIP remix contest as Shannon. That's not much of a personal connection, though.

During her time in the industry, she legit see some fuck up idol shit, like girls being pressed into doing "favor" for their managers. I'll give her a little break for being a bit disillusioned and salty about the whole experience.

She was fairly well known, as Senzawa was popular. I just don't remember her being that friendly with many other vtubers.

I suspect that rrat isn't true, maybe at most someone at Cover asked Coco if she knew about her after receiving her application. Senzawa was certainly big enough on her own merit to get in without having to rely on a recommendation.

Truth be told you need some real balls to go through that kind of decision and I can only respect her for it, she went through hell as a result but ended up with unique life experience, strong friendships and (now) loads of money.
