As for the dox, I think she has seen enough Jim to know that physically trooning out is a really bad idea. If she's attracted to women or men, that's up to her what she chooses. Gives you something living and tangible that you share some sort of bond with that's non-hostile, probably affectionate. Humans get lonely. It can feel nice to be reliable to someone, something, that you are of worth somehow. It sucks to feel worthless. Hopefully Pippa doesn't feel that way.
