Some other Niji highlights since downtime include Oliver's 3D stream, which also featured EN members. Most of his model looks great as usual, but honestly something feels really fucking weird about his lips.

Also, that 24-hour karaoke relay happened. There's a ton of great highlights, so just look up all the karaokes, but it capped off with possibly the first time members of all the core branches got to sing the Niji anthem together.

Man... i really missed this thread during the NijiMelody relay. My favorite one was Hakase's karaoke, but she deleted the vod for some reason

DBD collab was good fun, really liking how Kronii is just eternally bullyable, Altare and her makes a good duo, he also just has good chemistry with everyone.

Calli through some miracle performed the best as the killer with 2 kills before Altare just speedran the bonus round especially on a map he considers hard for the killer lol. But luck was on Kronii's side as she found the hatch almost immediately.

Agreed, at debut Kaela just felt like the boring ones out of the three, but her sheer will and good chemistry on collabs really makes her one of my top 3 in HoloID.

Yeah depends on the single player game, sometimes I prefer if it's a game they've played multiple times before.

It's a balance. On the one hand you want to see those fresh reactions, especially to surprises and twists. On the other hand, you don't want to see them spend hours struggling to learn the controls or getting lost.

My main reason for not watching Ina's playthrough (yet) is that she loves the story so I expect her to casually bring up spoilers during commentary, so I want to watch another playthrough first. That or play it myself but... no.

It turns out that less than 100% of females are actually lesbians, in fact, it is much less than 100%. Personally I don’t mind the fake shipping too much as long as it’s played off as a joke, and it’s a lot more difficult to play off male/female banter as a joke (my main worry about IRyS collabing with the boys is that YabaIRyS might accidentally make the boys uncomfortable.)

As for actual serious relationships, beyond the barest of details, I think private lives should be private. I don’t even like it when real life people talk about ‘getting laid’ and blah blah, but if they keep the conversation clean it’s not a huge deal. Heck, I’d be more uncomfortable about a real lesbian relationship than a real hetero relationship, but also more uncomfortable about a fake hetero relationship than a real hetero relationship.

Tl;dr, Gay joking ok, gay serious no. Straight serious ok, straight joking no. Not a set-in-stone rule, but I think that’s my general feeling?

Part of me wishes Airi could find a way to account for all of the miles she's driven, because you can apparently sue for unpaid mileage plus interest and attorneys fees.

I know fuck all about laws like this, as I don't know shit about California law, but I do know a decent bit about recording gas mileage for tax purposes so this spergy tangent is probably about as valid for something like this.

To my understanding, when you try to report your mileage on your taxes to claim it as a business expense, assuming for example you're a small business owner who uses your car to get to your store for example. Even if you just have a booklet where you write the changes in the meter on your car and put it into say a digital spreadsheet to get the final total and you factor out non-work miles in a reasonable way you can literally just write this shit down. You don't need like a electronic meter or something to do this, you just need a plausible estimate with enough detail. As this is just a commute to a from work, this is pretty easy to estimate because you can just google maps the rough miles from your house to your work to tie your estimates to the facts. That is what I learned when I studied taxes.

As long as your mileage makes sense, as-in for example a one way 10 mile commute is 20ish~ miles back and forth, you determine what the % of your miles was work related and apply that to your gas receipts every (for example) week you get gas, then a sane person will understand what you wrote and consider it valid enough as the actual difference is barely worth talking about with gas. We'd be talking maybe 10s of dollars a month difference not 1000s. Such differences are pretty "immaterial" imo. "Immaterial" is an accounting term that effectively means "Not worth arguing over unless you're insane." when making estimates and pretty much all gas mileage statements for most people are is just an estimate.

For an auditor for example, as long as your story makes sense and seems reasonable and whatever differences they could argue are mostly pointless, then it is considered true or true enough that no one will throw a fit. Again this is maybe 10s of dollars difference between what it actually is if we used something more unquestionably precise, not thousands. If this company has truly never paid her, then they have even less proof of their defense claim that they did pay, then she does as she at least has a valid amount that is plausible.

So depending on your schedule such as: Say 5 days a week, 20 miles each day, you've worked there for say 3 years so that is 156 weeks for 100 miles a week, then take some estimate for gas. Once you find that amount you might be able to get something anyway. I'd try to estimate on the low side personally so you don't seem greedy, or maybe you can find a historical gas average for California, but if you can prove you've never been paid for say a handful of months with an actual tally starting today then you can probably prove you've never been paid since your entire employment.

Again the employer has no proof to deny your claim if they truly didn't pay you, but you have gas receipts and a tally that is plausibly true with a large enough history to make an assertion that this 6 month period of unpaid gas is the norm since your entire employment.

tl;dr: You probably could sue for this if you autism a good enough spreadsheet that makes sense to a reasonable person. You don't need anything special, just a lot of number crunching really. I've never sued anyone for this sort of thing so YMMV, but this type of stuff is how I'd show gas expense to the tax man so it is probably valid enough for the California court as this company has even less to prove that they've paid Airi anything. If Airi pays using a debit/credit card, they could even maybe cross reference the individual charges for further proof.

Idk I find it entertaining that everyone speaks their native yet the JP and EN (due to the scripted nature) can understand eachother regardless its kinda neat and I hope it sticks around or at least in the case of Bae Irys and Calli they go back and forth
