Ame'd been streaming for a long as time yesterday as it was so her being at her wits end is understandable.

I do think the Myth girls ended the war on a bit of a salty note, but yeah I wouldn't imagine anything from it sticks. Well except Kiara, oddly enough the one I expected to rage quit harder than Ame was the most chill as far as I could tell lol. The other 3 of had rather unceremonious stream endings, compared to JP who all happily danced around and said byes, or ran around as a party group for a bit before going broke and logging.

Gura probably wasn't thrilled with that happening, but it's not like she wasn't fucking with Calli since day 1. Albeit up until today it was mostly just light jabbing and pranks. It would be fuckin stupid to be angry for any amount of time over shit that was gonna be gone in less than 2 hours anyway. She seemed to be in the middle of something, then with Calli proding her in global I guess just said fuck it and rolled. Sort of. She showed up a while later in the gambling den to get what was left of her stuff from Calli. Which was just the armor by that point, I don't think she returned the scrap but I could be wrong. Gura sorta walked off after doing a "cutesy" threat of "I'm gonna splatter your brains."

Calli seemed pretty done with things at the end, but I imagine that was mostly from her retarded chat spamming her based on her commentary. "Oh go here. Oh do this, do that. Oh no she's comin for you. Wait go back you'll miss the photo" or whatever type shit. So she also just kind of went "I'm ending stream." but hung out online. After the JP girls got around her she cheered up right quick. She did also say to Anya she hopes she didn't ACTUALLY piss off Gura or anything.
Personal side note: Her autism with the peace sheriff thing is driving me fucking crazy lol. I get rp'ing or whatever but this girl has that shit dialed to 13.

No one gives a shit about who ID collabs with except maybe Moona and possibly Reine. Ollie worked to tardwrangle some people early on and now no one gives her shit for it.

Shorts are favored by YouTube right now. If she puts out this mini videos about stuff she's interested in, rather than standard channel fluff, she could see some explosive growth.

The Saints Row and GTA streams were pretty huge. Also the shorts and other videos might have helped her discoverability.

That was definitely Ame ending her stream intentionally after her car landed, she did say that was what she is going to do after performing the stunt.

Anyway, she was definitely fine after that, you can't see it from her pov since her stream ended but she joined the general discord vc (most obviously observed in Kanata's pov who had the discord overlay) and was cheering along with everyone else while they officially "close" the season. After that, she made two positive tweets including one where she jokingly apologize for cursing too much. Oh and it doesn't end here, she also made a member post sharing out the member wallpaper she has promised.

Took a week or so break from the thread. Didn't even know the forums had gone down until I started catching up on it (50+ pages of course). Honestly if I could just filter out any post with the word "pippa" in it I'd have half as many to read and get about the same thing out of it since I don't follow or care much for her. I've also tried to just catch up by using the highlighted comments, but it seems like dumb meme-y stuff is more what gets to be a highlighted comment than actual useful information, so that's not terribly helpful.

Also, until I read this thread (and now saw on reddit this morning too) I didn't really know or care much about the Kronii/Stars collab drama and I think my life was better for it. Starting to make me reevaluate whether keeping up with the thread and even reddit/twitter is better or worse for my mentality. Some days I think I should just go back to being a clueless idiot who just watches videos of my oshis and then goes back to my grass-touching life nonethewiser of the dramas going on in the background.

That being said, I'm still here for now, so here's some replies to catch up!

parasocial relationship goes both ways. probably even more so with vtubers. all we really see of these girls/boys are their personalities. and to be fully accepted by a community just for being you would mean a lot to anyone.

Mumei has said this many times as well. She talks about always having had to hide her powerlevel and act "normal" in the past and for the first time being part of HL and being friends with the other HoloEN members has allowed her just to be herself and accepted liking anime, her cursed drawings, and other misc nerdy/geeky things that normies think are weird.

I'll just come out and say it at this point. I've toyed with the idea of making a vtuber-centric forum with values based on Kiwifarms (open discussion of room-mates, rules that heavily discourage coombaiting, zero tolerance for progressive insanity) for a while. If I had enough people interested then I would definitely pursue that option if and only IF Kiwifarms itself went down. I have no pretension towards it being 'better' than this thread, or any interest in leadership for the sake of leadership. I just have the benefits of a more or less stable psychological profile and a high tolerance for tardwrangling.

At the very least it'd be kino if people had a way to keep talking and stay in contact if this place goes down. I would propose an Element.io room, (as that seems anonymous?) that people can just join without breaking opsec. But I'm open to suggestions.

All I want is for the particularly autistic magic of this place not to flicker out. That's worth some effort. If it comes to that.

While the autism and sperginess would be annoying to deal with, probably the worst part would be dealing with being C&D and sued by vtubers/corpos who don't want their identities discussed. Kiwi farms is probably one of the more unique places best equipped to deal with that situation as they already have to for other lolcows. I think if you wanted to start a forum up to take this threads place, you better be equipped and ready with a lawyer and probably DDOS protection for when you anger the wrong mob.

I don't think we'll ever see Gura collabing with a Star, girl is trying really hard to not acknowledge their presence that it kinda sticks out sometimes. Though I wonder how long can she last, they will inevitably add more gens in the future, not to mention some of her branchmates get along really well with them (imagine if one of them accidentally namedrop the boys during a collab, the atmosphere would become awkward).

She spoke a bit more normal back when she was with LemonLeaf. I mean she always put on a loli voice to match the character but it wasn't as bad as it is now. I wish she backed off just a little. She's fucking great but her voice takes some time to get used to.

Assuming this is in response to me, this is not my stance at all. My stance has always been "let the talent do what they want", if they want to collab with the boys, then sure we should encourage them to, but if they don't want to then we should respect their decision.
