So what we are left with is Bob Ross the Pun Hunter, Doggodachi the purple fluffy dog and Nekonomicon V1 monster hunter edition. I think she the only one currently running Insect Glaive as well as far as I'm aware.

Interest will fade after all the launch content is completed. Some will probably drop it after low rank, others will grind out high rank and then pick it up again when a update drops. This iteration of monhun has a pretty weak endgame at launch that can be reached quickly if you're good. It only took Luna a day to beeline it through low rank, so about 1/3rd of all the content.
