I have this scene in my head of an elderly British WW2 veteran sitting down, he's just renewed his TV loicense and he turns on his telly, and there's this anime thot on the news. He sighs as a single tear rolls down his cheek, and he says to himself, "I guess the nips won the war after all..."
If only they could have gotten Ironmouse instead of Vei, I don't know too much about Vei other than people don't like her and she did some spergout about Cover. But Mouse is a much more positive story in terms of vtubing being a positive thing for someone who really didn't have much else going on.

To be fair, the Brits never really had a grudge match with the Brits that the Americans had. The Brits didn't even see most of the truly horrible fighting against the Japs.

I get the feel they were just gunning for specifically British women. That being said I have to imagine there was at least one other recognizable British vtuber on there who didn't pose a legitimate, greater-than-zero chance of saying "cum" on a live broadcast.
Froot I get, I think she's a pretty safe vtuber ambassador because her stupid antics are the exception, not the rule. Vei has one mode and that is turbothot.
I just chuckled to myself imagining when that aired, quite a few people in offices and such googling vtubers and going "Wot dis vchuba lark den, they earning lotta monie now, i wanna take a lookie" and then proceeding to fall down the hole and are watching them at work and having to tab out when the boss comes by.
So glad I wasn't on site today anywhere, I know places that have BBC news on 24/7. I honestly wouldn't have been able to contain myself if I saw it in person now.
Out of all the vtubers my country could muster up to interview they had them. Excellent. Thinking about it though, not like they could get holos on BBC that just yeah not gonna happen.
Hololive has that whole autistic obsession with the idols and their image so you could only get the management to agree only if they had like full control of the whole thing.
I heard it the other way around though? That she try to chase Luna but the other side doesn't see her that way, which cause Matsuri to go menhara on her roommate account.
And anytime relationship speculation happen, it always end up like this where all the tidbit and rumors got throw around to support one argument or the other without really going anywhere. This type of discussion hardly relate to the performance of the talents themselves. My stance is, believe whatever you want but don't worry about it too much because you will never know the truth unless their roommate suddenly come out and say it a-la-Norio.
Talking completely in the kayfabe sense, and as someone who personally enjoyed FestivaLuna over SubaLuna. All we know is that there was an argument between the two and they stopped talking to eachother. But if there was anyone who wouldn't turn down Matsuri it would be Luna. On the contrary, she was pushing heavily for Matsuri to show some form of commitment. Including being very jealous of Hoshikawa (reiterating, speaking kayfabe here).
Now onto Matsuri and her reasonings for turning down Luna, this is less kayfabe and actually happened... Luna wasn't the first Hololive Member Matsuri was infatuated with. That would be Fubuki, and similarly to FestivaLuna, the both of them collabed a lot. And I think Fubuki truly saw Matsuri as a close friend. But unlike Luna, she didn't want anything more than that. And after a while, it got too much for her and suddenly the collabs stopped, the interactions stopped, etc (this has gotten better the past few months/half a year). And since then Matsuri doesn't want to have any relationship with someone in Hololive. I think she actually flat out said this at some point as well.
Oh boy, it's time for another big effortpost/info dump. TL;DR: I have received what is essentially a complete archive of Yuni Luna's Discord server. The logs contain some pretty interesting and funny new information/insight. Some highlights are below, including potential juicy information about a staff member of Phase Connect, as well as a deeper look into her family situation. Also, the word 'fag' is "always at the tip of (her) tongue ready to slip out." That is an actual quote. I did not make that up. Go to the bottom-most spoiler and look for yourself.
For context, I was contacted and given these logs by a person who claims to have been in the server for months. They used the Discord Chat Exporter to do it, and it was compiled on August 3rd of this year at around 11 P.M. EST. I am going to keep them anonymous.
They also sent me a decent amount of screenshots encompassing some of the interesting/important stuff, since there's no way in hell that I was going to be able to go through all of the logs just to find the important shit. It's a very active and relatively big server.
Yuni alone has 17,000 messages:
The parts are compressed .7z files, and I am hosting each one on a different Mega account.
(free accounts have a limited amount of upload storage available. If anyone has any alternative file hosting sites that I could use to make backup mirrors without needing to pay, please let me know and I'll do it as soon as I can.)
When both are extracted, the total file size comes to around ~23 gigabytes. There is a very good reason for this large size: the archive includes local copies of practically EVERY piece of media that has been shared in the server. Every image, video, gif, or pretty much any other type of attachment is completely preserved for posterity within the folder that correlates to the text channel. Like I said earlier, I haven't gone through most of it, so there's probably some gems in there that I haven't found.
To access the main log archives, just open the HTML file using the web browser of your choice.
Now that I've gotten that out of the way, let's look at some of the interesting things that my contact sent screenshots of, shall we?
This one is pretty fun. I'll just let the screenshots speak for themselves.
And then, the bombshell:
Let's look at this Joseph guy a bit.
Yuni linked this page (Archive).
Very interesting. Things seem to actually be lining up, at least from what I can tell.
The content he retweets/likes is exactly what you would assume based off of his bio.
I don't have the drive to look at any more of the Twitter, let alone archive it - I think this is enough.
Also, I briefly followed the guy on Twitter to check if he still is following Phase Connect, and sure enough, he is.
Anyways, the link in his Twitter bio leads to a site called 'beacons' that has some more information about him (Archive).
(Even the location in this bio is virtue signaling. It is referring to what the 'original natives' of Canada called parts of British Columbia, at least from what I read and understood. It never ends )
>is into smash brothers
welp, that explains everything
It also leads to a LinkedIn page (Archive).
It has a complete list of his credentials, education, and experience, which is too long for me to post here. Go check it out if you really want to know the specifics.
But for now, that's where I'll leave things. From what I've seen, I am 99% sure that this dude is in some way involved with Phase Connect. It lines up way too well for it to be a coincidence. I do feel like this dude deserves another post looking into him, but I don't want to spend too much time on him in this post. If anyone else wants to give him a look, then go ahead.
Remember when I 'found' her birthday from the Steam account and thought it was some hidden thing in my previous effortpost?
Yeah, nah, it was actually known to everyone in the server this whole time.
Whoops.
You know what else also makes me look like a jackass? The fact that one of the channels literally has a P.O. Boxon public display for sending her things, set up by an IRL friend.
Whoops. Guess the discussion about her location from earlier in the thread is now obsolete, lul
[We can also assume that this is accurate, since the message has been edited since first being posted ()]
Also, if there are any whales here who want to contribute to the bus project, go ahead.
And that isn't even the end. The people there have also known about the Bismeowrck Twitter the whole time. Whoops.
Goddamn, I really got BTFO'd
I barely found any actual new, juicy information in that previous infodump post - sorry guys, lol
It seems like it was a running joke for a while to call Yuni a bunny. From what I gather, it started when she briefly rebranded to AsylaTV months before the Pippa debut. It stemmed from the fact that her design had ears that looked like a rabbit's to some, and people began to tease her about it.
You can easily find these kinds of messages in the archives. Here are just a few:
So, it might be a possibility that her Phase Connect character being a rabbit was in-part influenced by the running joke. Or it could be a retarded rrat. You be the judge.
This one is severe tonal-whiplash in comparison to the rest of the more light-hearted stuff in this post. It's genuinely sad and a real downer. Make of it what you will - it gives insight into her background, and she also mentions some more of her family history - stuff such as they had a pet store at one point, etc.
From here, the conversation moves on to talking about what the daughter is interested in and what the people want to do to help (I.E. donating books, anime, games, etc.) and there isn't really anything super important posted until 6 days later.
There's also some posts about her mom on the server. It explains why she's currently putting up with the roommates.
And later...
This is all just real sad. Yuni's got some real grit being able to deal with all of this bullshit. I hope she also eventually gets away from the horrible current roommates as well.
To counteract that huge downer, I'm going to wrap the post up with some more light-hearted funnies.
- In this conversation, Yuni is talking about a what-if scenario where she got into Hololive.
- This is... interesting...
- Uh-oh.
- Hates Reddit confirmed yet again. Sakana is more than likely forcing her to shill the company on that hellhole, as we've talked about before.
Just in case you don't remember who Athena is (I definitely didn't):
I've got no clue how accurate this summary is, but god knows I'm not about to waste time just to check on a drama about a literally-who from almost a year ago. But either way, I think Yuni's right. The ENVTuber scene is the embodiment of aids.
Also, some talk about /vt/. (Context: Conversation started with talking about a potential audition for Hololive. Transitioned to this after the following joke.)
- Talking about 8chan later in the convo. 'Edgy political phase' revealed.
- The word 'fag' is "always at the tip of my (her) tongue ready to slip out."You can't make this shit up. She also had a slip-up and had to delete a VOD, if these logs are anything to go by. It also seems like someone in the stream said the n-word too.
- Based take on Nyanners.
- Her take on Lolicon. ENVTubers BTFO'D.
- Breadtube, shitcoin/crypto, and brief gamergate talk. Dunno much about any of these topics; you guys can come to the conclusion of whether or not these takes are based. I don't really care either way. Also, /mlp/ hate.
- Based cosplay gatekeeper.
- And then...Holy mother of based.Dreams do come true, bros...
(remember, Asyla was Yuni's brief rebrand name.)
Of course, neither me nor my source are perfect. There's probably tons of other interesting shit that we literally just didn't see. If anyone here decides to actually go through the archive and is able to find new shit, then please post your findings here.
In Conclusion:Yuni/Pippa is clearly one of the strongest aidorus to ever exist. She's got some real resilience to bullshit. Keep it up, schizo bnuuy. Cuck management will never keep you down.
Update on the Yuni Discord Server: My guy has sent me one last batch of screenshotscomposed of the server reaction to the chatlog leak. He said that he's done sending me info now, with him feeling like he's already done enough and also starting to feel bad for doing it. He's also reasonably worried about being found out, since Zax is publicly 'on the hunt for Kiwis' (He has '28 suspects' and has kicked people, according to the screenshots). My guy said he might make occasional exceptions if he deems something 'important' enough, though.
Because of some of what they claim about us, I feel the need to do this.
I will be going through some of the points made and individually discussing them. I am not going chronologically through each screenshot - I'm just going by what comes to mind first.
Claiming that I am 'acting like I'm some sort of great detective' and that I 'did an amazing thing': Yeah, no. Literally all of the shit was given to me. All I did was compile & archive; the only 'detective work' that I did was looking a little bit into the potential Phase Connect staff-member lead that Yuni posted. I didn't do some sort of great & amazing deed. I also kinda understand people's discomfort about the full-server archive, but...
The idea that people in the server will be stalked/doxed/etc: Let me break it to you: no-one who goes through the archive will care at all about a random server member and their lives. Even if you posted your entire home address at one point in the server, no one would care. Why? Because it doesn't matter. You're one random person in a server talking; no-one going through the logs would decide to go out of their way to fuck with you specifically. None of us here would go after Yuni/Pippa either. You know why? Take a look at one of the main forum rules.
View attachment 2422892
Why the fuck would we even want to fuck with a non-lolcow VTuber that everyone here likes? And especially random people in a server? Everyone in there currently is & will be safe. Nothing bad is going to happen. The 'wrath of KiwiFarms' is a myth.
The idea that this was done to 'cancel' Yuni/Pippa & find 'dirt': This is completely incorrect in almost everyway possible. The guy who reached out to me with the archive & screenshots is a fan, and thought that the people here would like to have this insight about her. And besides, why would KiwiFarms of all places even want to cancel anyone? The site is literally the arch-enemy of those types of people, and the screenshots were posted because they contained information that made us like her more and gave extra context into her situation- not because they had 'dirt.'
The idea that we are 'incels' and 'cyberbullies' who do nothing but maliciously hurt people: Of the 2,000+ pages of this thread that I have read, a majority of the posts are people just supporting their oshis and talking about the chuuba scene in general. We rarely talk shit about the VTubers themselves; Rather, when we decide to talk shit, it is mostly directed at idiotic community members, such as Hololive Historian/Poka. And even when we do talk shit about a chuuba, it's mostly in jest and isn't taken seriously at all (I.E. Kiara & Calli doomposts). Most of our time here is spent supporting. It seems like some people in the server have the misconception that my post was made with malicious intent. I will reiterate: no, it wasn't.
We literally make fun of those kinds of stalker gachikois. View attachment 2422812View attachment 2422789View attachment 2422826
But yes, I understand the concerns regarding the P.O. Box. None of the posters here would do something bad, but you never really do know who's lurking. If only Null let us use the users-only spoiler tags
So, in conclusion: The post had no malicious intent. No, I don't think I'm a saint. The reason it was posted was to provide some new information and background into her life/struggles, and it made us support her even more.
I also really do doubt that many people are actually going to painstakingly go through the entire archive, let alone download 23 gigabytes to do it. It would be a huge undertaking and a gigantic hassle to do so.
I have received this from my source. It was important enough for him to send.View attachment 2423937
I respect Yuni's wishes. In fact, I was literally in the middle of writing a post saying that I'd probably redact certain things if Yuni herself said she had a problem with it.
So, I have listened, and have removed the mental health channel from Part 1 of the MEGA archive. I quickly skimmed through the channel, & there really was nothing super interesting/important there anyways. I'm not going to stand my ground over something this trivial.
So yeah. In order to remove the channels, I have to manually delete it from Part 1's ZIP file and re-upload it to MEGA. It'll probably be a few hours until it's back up. I'll keep ya posted.

I mean that's always been the case lmao. Look at every other "Vtuber Interview" on Youtube such as The Score Esports' - they plaster the thumbnail with Hololive/Niji and talk about the sudden interest and boom with Vtubers especially Holo/Niji only to have literal whos as their interviewees
You should definitely check it out since it's fully translated and only 8 mins long. Seriously, Polka is hilarious and talented af and I wonder why the show isn't more popular despite the promotion on twitter by official channel.
can't speak for others but her design doesn't appeal to me at all. it's not I don't like it but it inevitably does generate a first impression, and with it assumptions derived from it. the more over the top a design is the more divisive it is, it gets more eyeballs but also more reactions. a "normal" design might be boring but it's also safer in that people start watching with less preconceptions. might be shallow, but if even I fall victim to it while being aware if it, can't even imagine how it is for most people.
imo similar to roboco where it feels she got a boost after her new costume reveal (she was always adorable and cute to the point it makes me feel funny in my chest, but you wouldn't assume it from her original design). would be interesting to see how it works for ollie with olivia.
or take watame where you can immediately gauge what you gonna get.

how old is her roommate again?
either way, at some point you learn you don't shit where you eat.
my impression is that she chased a few, be it out of desperation or loneliness, and then it didn't work out because it was too much (still remember that nene stream where it felt a bit uncomfortable even for me). as @Cubanodun said all she needs is some heavy handholding for a weekend as a start and lot of the menhera-energy will probably dissipate...
In the midst of everything else, some actually good, wholesome vtuber related content:
That is pretty damn impressive. Zen had a pretty good charity run for them last year that earned around 13k iirc. I think it's great that Mousey got the chance to do this and that it turned out as well as it did, wholesome all around and sends a message to people like her with fucked up immune systems that even bubble people can still get out there and get shit done.

Man, it makes me so happy to see Mousey doing so much with herself considering her circumstances in life. I have the utmost respect for her, and she continues to impress every time I watch her. She ended up watching some of her own highlight videos yesterday on that charity stream, which included this one which is just a riot.
Looks also like Reine and Risu released duet covers of the same song on their own channels, swapping who is the main volcalist.
