Polka to EOP audience is like Amelia to JP audience. You need to understand the language to get all of their normies jokes, references and Internet innuendo. Polka definitely understand western jokes but her English is so horrid that it turned into a meme like Amelia who can absolutely take over shitpost review show if only her Japanese was more fluent. Learning new languages from the ground up is hard and it will be awhile until they exploded in popularity on the other sides.

The one thing that sold me Polka was that Radio station skit she pulled during a collab with Flare, it was so good that people were wondering if she had some kind of training on it, people requested it so much that she actually did a complete stream with the skit
