It's genuinely confusing to me how Kiara can sing something like lo-fi Suspect this way while not understanding why people appreciate her singing like that.
Kiara's first stream back from Dokomi (it's possible she was a bit tired), but her voice was more relaxed. It's hard to know if her usual pitch is her doing the standard energetic "streamer" voice (I usually default to this being why they pitch their voices up, though slightly different for the JP talents as traditionally Jap men like cutesy voices, not sure if that's changed), or possibly the voice she picked for the character, or maybe some vain attempt at privacy. Though I actually I don't really buy the privacy idea, though the girls aren't the brightest with some stuff, as I don't know if it's because we only get their voice so it make us focus on it more, or they all seem to have rather distinct voices, only that they pretty much get instantly recognized if they have ever said a single thing on the internet.
Granted her voice has been slowly mellowing out, it's no where near as nasally or harsh as when she first started. Kiara really has a really smooth voice when she talks casually.
I actually have a whole rant about talents and their voices, verse the watching audience and how depending on location think their voices should sound a certain way, and while there are ones that do change their pitch or put on a voice, I'm glad Snuffy got the positive reception to her actually voice and hopefully has helped show that putting on a voice isn't necessary. But it really incited all the retards to start pointing fingers at anyone and everyone with a voice outside of what they claim is normal as fake, like Nyanners who has talked about pitching her voice down in school so as not to get bullied (which happens in my country too), or Indonesians claiming no woman in their country could possibly have a high pitched voice.
Anyway, I'm going go and calm down my autism with catching up with the rest of her vod, I'll just note I really want to see her branch out with different music genres, as I really think we haven't seen what her real singing talent is yet.
