I imagine there is some settings to make sure it sends you an alert every time someone goes live. Most people don't want that when they subscribe to someone, so you probably need to tinker with some settings.

Depends on who you are and if you auditioned or got scouted. Flare auditioned, she didn't get a choice and had problems with her OG design. 2 members of gen 3 got scouted and presumably had more input. Luna and Coco were scouted and got what they wanted.
