there's also a difference between commenting on your roommate's look and your avatar unless you designed and rigged it yourself (and then why complain when you can just fix it?). the latter simply looks unprofessional to air publicly, not to mention there's a good chance it will piss off whoever is responsible for it, even more so if you're japanese it seems.

as for anime tiddies, can't remember in what circumstance I heard it, but sometimes bust is preferred just for the looks in a non-sexual way, like adding depth and contour. like runway models being flat so they can act as walking coat hooks. it's not limited to animu either, more of a general rule (but like I said can't remember if it was art in general or fashion/photography/etc).
so even with personal preference she might have gone with it simply for looks, similar to how aqua's 3d model looks more stacked (and if it's still a problem later on it's easy to do a reverse marine and hide it in a new costume).

There may be an element to it where they feel that having similar proportions (incl. height) makes it easier to roleplay, and/or harder to slip up on details when they talk about IRL.

The only mismatch I know of is Pekora. Her character is slim figured, but her roommate can fill out Hestia cosplay.

So, I think over a thousand pages ago I talked about this. I'm really good with faces. Names are shit, but I am almost always dead on when I say I have seen a person somewhere. That kind of thing is very detail oriented and being able to kind of pick-out certain features that stand out past the wholistic image of a face (or backdrop, horizon, treeline, etc. . .). After seeing a lot of the HL and Niji face doxxes, I have been surprised pretty rarely, and I think it has to do with how the artists kind of tailor the creation to talent. . . an overlap. I can't draw for shit, but I can kind of see what they are going for if that makes any sense. @ZMOT has it with the body type for the most part, it can be hit or miss in accuracy. But I'm telling you, the faces are drawn, at least after first generation, with the background in mind. Now some are pretty different, but the only thing about EN that I didn't expect was Ame's roommate not being blonde. . . she just has every other color in the crayon-box.
