It made me wonder if there's any good time for a new Generation to debut, be it EN or JP. And honestly, October and November have some pretty decent gaps and few anniversaries in general.

That's because Gen 5 all debuted in one week within a day of each debut. Tomorrow is Lion's anniversary with Polka's on the 16th.

Look forward for EN anniversary next month with them debuted all in the same day(only some hours difference from each debut).

I still can't believe we are nearly 1 year for Holo EN. Where has the time gone?

I remember way back when they announced the EN lot that, the general reaction was it would be filled with SJWs and generally be abit of a shit show as it was a very heavily dominated JP world then and everyone thought it would be a complete failure.

Then came debut day, Cali was first and dropped the RIP song which proceeded to demolish everyone expectations. Then followed some mini kiara meltdown, the beginning of tako domantion, the "A" and a acid trip from Ame.

That was a good weekend...

Some real good memories there. Before the EN girls, I was very very loosely into this stuff. Watched a few clips here and there with passing interest. But after they debuted...well..I lost all my free time hahaha. Crazy to think its been almost a year.

Edit: Unrelated, but someone convince Pippa to play Cuckold Simulator please. I will sacrifice my firstborn in exchange.

I think the optimal time for HoloEN2 debut would be immediately after Holomyth anniversary. Amelia will have the honor to announce it at the end of her anniversary celebration.

I mean, after Artia left, they had to make do with someone. Kiara took one for the team.

I actually didn't see the last one LOL.

But yeah, the gist is pretty spot on: see an animal, all-caps the Holomen associated with said animal.

If I was going to call a Holomen a 'cunt' it would be Matsuri for kicking me out of her house the other day.

So would this make Matsuri... Hana Macchia's mom?

Selen with a pretty enlightening chat in her stream.

She's talking about how being a V-Tuber fries your vocal chords and she's wary of the stories of others needing to fix how they talk or even get surgery after just a year or so of activity.

As an aside, deafness/tinnitus is probably just as much a risk in the industry, especially the more musically-oriented talents, and it's a surprisingly common trait in the real Japanese music industry as well. The human body isn't really well-equipped for the intense life on the industry factory line. It's not by some weird force of God that V-Tubers just so happen to develop similar health issues.

Selen is saying that she's making an effort to drink tea between APEX rounds and after streams to keep herself as healthy as possible.

Good on her for identifying a problem and not wanting to simply cross that bridge when she gets to it.

I think she said tea is bad for your vocal cord. She said she's been drinking honey and lemon water with ginger

I have heard JP voice actors talking about avoiding to use their voice as much as possible outside of work and even suffering the tokyo summer without AC to prevent damage to their vocals.

We will probably see the Agency starting to push the talent to do regular exercise, similar to what happend in esport teams. Atleast if they want to retain the talent for years. I hope they are on Marines Case and they will urge her to keep her streams at minimum. She is one of my faves and i would rather have even a year or forever a reduced amount, than her having to stop completly.

If they try to make them exercise, Marine, Miko and Luna will die

Luna have said that her 0 stamina princess is but an act, and from her RFA and recent sport competition, I believe her. She isn't an athletic or anything, but she's much physically capable than "Dying after 10 squats."

I'm not really sure how effective 'vocal exercises' would be for something like this. It's just what it is. Even professional singers are always using their real voice.

Using a fake voice and consciously changing to a pitch that isn't yours is so much extra strain. If you're doing that 4-10 hours a day, 4-7 days a week, your throat is probably experiencing the vocal equivalent of a carpet bomb.

But the cost of RTA'ing your own sensory health to be cutesy for viewers isn't my coin to spend.

I'm literally shaking in fear. :melchett:

Probably just a discussion style show with ERROR as main theme.
It's interesting to note that they are all in 3D, and apparently in schoolgirl outfits. Hopefully not just a one-off thing and more of a "Outfit pack". It'd be interesting to see more themed 3D outfits for members outside of their Idol costumes and the (hopefully not for much longer) ignored bathing suits. (I guess the New Year outfits are themed as well, but they differ quite a bit from member to member)
