I'm pretty sure that as soon as you give anybody in your army a gun that is even slightly subpar, you get nuked on principle.

At least, this is what I've gleamed from arguing on the internet.

To be fair, stock [unmolested/mutilated by Bubba] Mosins are mil-spec even if they're vintage. As much as mil-spec is deride as minimum acceptable standards by internet autists. It is still the standard(s) need to be adhered to if you want to sell shit to Uncle Sam.

LOL. Wow, people really read into things. Ian announces from an EU trade show that Brownells is going to offer, in the EU where allowed, WWSD rifles. This is just a marketing ad for WWSD rifles. He didn't hint at or state that anything would be going to a war zone.

The trade show Ian was at is:

It is an international outdoor products trade show. Some interesting things for sure. It isn't really a SHOT Show, it has companies and items not normally associated with or displayed at the American SHOT Show.

Comments include the occasional coping and seething Europeans and noguns.

I kinda want to see pictures of Mosins start being used as propaganda, something along the lines of "An entire Russian advance was halted by 12 brave men with clapped out old bolt actions! Can you believe that? Fucking Russians owned epic style!" just to reignite the "Bolt actions aren't obsolete" slap fight, that one always gave me some good lulz.

Mount some scopes on them and/or hand the unscoped good ones to whoever haves the best eyesight and they'll be effective at causing medium to long range trouble.
