I think it bears reflecting on that people widely just accept the idea of him saying an extreme thing like that and they figure "Yeah, that's Karl, that sounds exactly like an opinion he'd espouse."
 
Imagine constantly needing to be edgy after your teens to own the chuds that you require supporters to tell barely interested parties that you are, in fact, joking.
That behavior is not every future-oriented.
