i've come across a lot of infighting and drama in this community with a "groundings"
http://goanimate.wikia.com/wiki/Grounded_Videos
Grounded Videos are animations created from users of GoAnimate and are well known on Youtube since 2011. The plot of the video is having a certain character perform a bad deed which gets him/her grounded by their own parents. Most of these videos are directed towards another GoAnimate user that the creator of the video dislikes. Most people may not know why these videos are popular but they seems to appeal mostly towards young audiences such as toddlers, children, and sometimes young teenagers. Almost all grounded videos have the same formula, despite having different characters. For some weird reason, nobody wants to make any new types of grounded videos. James The Animator has tried this multiple times, but nobody liked them. LW97 and nakamario27 are now trying the Same.

Oh man, these videos have been a source of amusement on certain parts of Tumblr for a while. There's like an entire community of people who make these videos following that formula. Somebody does something and gets grounded for a ridiculously long number of years, is told they are "in dead meat," they cry and they're told that they're going to have to watch shows for preschoolers forever.

This is one of my favorites.

At about 1:18 the best song happens.

So this is how Family Guy is made.
If it weren't for the fact that Seth MacFarlane doesn't voice half the cast, I can definitely see the resemblance.

Do people find these funny? Are there actually people who watch these for enjoyment?
Surprisingly, yes. Though I think they're mostly people (whether or not they're spergs doesn't really matter in this case) with a really poor sense of taste. Me, I can't help but laugh at how stupid those videos are. I'm also kinda surprised that the groundings don't involve the parent's threatening to kill their "kids" either. That'd actually make it a tad more entertaining.

It's not so much "enjoyment" as it is "fascination."

... Okay, it's amusement. These people have their own fascinating little world of groundings and cartoon characters and it's like lifting up a rock to see a village of magical mushroom fairies living underneath. I love these videos. They're so strange and stupid and bad and that's why they appeal to me.

Here, have some heart-wrenching drama, a tragedy in three parts.

EDIT: I forgot part four. It's a tragedy in four parts.

This is a typical video from the wiki. An ordinary user of goanimate.wikia.com has to rise from his chair to face an existential threat which is more dangerous than blue arms and more catastrophic than latex balloons - fake VHS openings by YouTube and Wikia user Warren Cook.
Warren gets a just punishment for his heinous crimes - a 10 seconds long string of some random numbers and a place in such categories on the Wikia as "Dead Users", "Evil Characters" and "Hates Ewoks" (?).

Speaking of categories, they are just as autistic as the ones on Pooh's Adventures Wiki. For example, the categories about their "villians" contain subcategories like "Users nobody should like", "Big Time Troublemakers", "Characters who get in trouble alot at school and home, or public places", "Decepticons", "People who act like Decepticons", "Corrupt Terminators", "Kaiju who curl into balls", "Part of the Axis Power of the 21st century" and this one, which is my personal favourite for some reason:

No, it wasn't created by trolls.

Also, here's another typical page - some tactical autism inspired by Call of Duty Modern Warfare. Note the list of wars.
