The point is to create such an obvious and repulsive reputation for Twitch and Dan Clancy that the advertisers and/or big daddy Amazon actually take notice. I'd say there's at most a 50% chance of getting the killshot necessary for a viral effect. All it took was one viral moment in Congress to kick off the resignations of the presidents of Harvard and Penn—Twitch and Hasan are literally nothing in comparison. But because US politicians are so retarded, it's only a 50% shot that one of them actually pulls it off.
Not that it would be that hard. It's just that Congressmen are fucking retarded and can't take the easy win.

I don't know if he falls for it, or if he deliberately aims for that, because that shit is really easy to respond to without thinking.
Some guy going "haha lefties rekt lmao" can easily be responded to by an emotional tirade and a bunch of shallow statements about how "Left good, Right bad" or "filthy capitalist pigs" or whatever shit.
However, going after someone who might post an ACTUAL argument is much harder; because it'll require some thinking and ACTUAL study of the topic. Which, for someone like Hasan, is the equivalent of throwing holy water on a demon.

Hasan is clearly a poseur who doesn't actually believe what he preaches (aside from the political violence). He may have Lefty leanings, but he's not a true believer like many in his audience are. He values comfort and luxury too much. He's basically the Leftist version of a snake oil salesman, pushing a product that he knows doesn't work to a bunch of gullible rubes because it makes him money. He's also a coward, since his whole reason for leaving Turkey was because he was terrified of getting drafted.
He really only pays lip service to Lefty views like feminism, saying what he thinks his audience wants to hear to keep them around and the money flowing into his bank account. The only time his real views come out is when political violence and terrorism are involved. He gets much more excited and animated whenever those topics are in the foreground. I think part of the reason he went for Lefty politics, aside from the easily duped rubes, is because they are more accepting of terrorism and political violence. He's a bloodthirsty Turk after all, and you can take the bloodthirsty Turk out of Turkey, but you can't take the bloodthirsty out of the Turk.
He's also a raging narcissist. It's why his ass is so chapped over Asmongold being the bigger political commentator online and why Asmon lives in Porker's head rent-free. Hasan thinks if a Marxist revolution were to happen then he would become a high ranking member of the party elite. He thinks he would be a Lenin or Mao. The problem is that the majority of people who want a Marxist revolution in America are soft, pathetic, impotent losers. Most of them have never held down a job for more than a year. A lot of them have never even had a job. Lots of edgy teenagers and welfare NEETs living with their parents. The only places they have any influence are places like Portland who have ALLOWED them to continue their behavior. Once they get some real pushback they fold like a fucking lawn chair. Just look at what's been happening with Antifa now that the Feds have taken off the kid gloves. Not any kind of way to mount a successful revolution. These aren't the hardened farmers, factory workers, and peasants who fought for revolution in Russia, China, Vietnam, Cuba, etc. These are soft suburban kids who have never known hardship or struggle, who grew up coddled and pampered, essentially throwing tantrums because they want a bigger allowance without working for it. Eventually Hasan will give the wrong opinion and they'll cannibalize him as well.

I never really understood how this can be such a central theme in his streams and people still watch him. He's constantly getting one guy'd by randoms in the chat and derailing his stream while he gets visibly irritated that someone on the internet dared to say something dumb. It's actually uncomfortable to watch and it happens multiple times per hour. Does his audience enjoy this? Seems weird to me but people like weird things online I guess!

I always assumed that most of those long and drawn out chats that he "responds" to which insult other people were actually him or a friend on a sock account, a convenient exuse to bring up something he wants to talk about without being accused of being the one who brought it up in the first place, if the chat actually exists to begin with (pretty sure at least one time I saw someone actually look for a chat Hasan was "responding" to, and he couldn't find it, so Hasan literally made it up to talk about something).

The current day is October 7th, isn't there going to be a congressional hearing tomorrow on the 8th with Dan Clancy being called to answer to the growing political extremism on Twitch? I'm pretty sure there was. I don't think YouTube is going to save Hasan if he gets banned for calling for political violence. Youtube, as shit as it is, is way less tolerant. He can do it on Twitch because the moderation allows him to. I don't think he's going to be protected like the golden child. There's a non-zero chance that, after the hearing tomorrow, Youtube sees what he's doing and just decides to say "Fuck that" and ban him to save face. That's my optimism hoping for the funniest outcome of seeing Hasan suffer in a spectacular way, because that fucking faggot deserves more punishment than what he's gotten so far, which is fuck all: being persona non grata on social media for a person who's as addicted and dependent to social media attention/clout as Hasan would destroy him. He wants his enemies deplatformed (I do not believe for a second he's actually against it), I think he might get it...for himself.
Only retards with no sense of self-preservation would want to associate with someone who could break national news for having a pattern of supporting terrorists and calling for violence in the wake of Kirk's assassination, especially if it's revealed as a result of questioning that gets brought up in Congress. Hasan could find out very quickly that he has no real friends, just parasites that attach to him as long as they can benefit.
