From the gameplay trailer this looks like deadlock but first-person, it's made by the guys behind titanfall.
Launching in january 26, 2026. Free to play.

It's being roasted in the youtube comments.

Remember when Hood Outlaws & Legends and Steel Hunters were announced in the TGAs, only to die off on the same year they were released? Its gonna happen here.

Gonna be real I can't follow wtf is happening in the trailer.
The blue team summons horses to ride to a temple to get Excalibur to unlock the barrier to summon a siege engine to destroy the barrier so they can get into the orange team's base. Pretty simple stuff, I'm sure it'll be intuitive to play.

The year is 2025, and even Half-Life 3 believers pity those who carry the flame for Titanfall 3. The long watch continues for a hope that may never come. The living envy the dead, for only the dead have seen the end of cringe.

From the creators of Apex Legends and Titanfall, comes Highguard: a PvP raid shooter where players will ride, fight, and raid as Wardens, arcane gunslingers sent to fight for control of a mythical continent.

Battle rival Warden crews for possession of the Shieldbreaker, then break into and destroy the enemy base to secure territory in this all-new breed of shooter.

Highguard, AKA Concord 2, AKAWe Don't Have The Rights For Titanfall 3, AKA Not Another Fucking Hero Shooter, AKA Apex 2: The Search For More Money, is a "raid shooter" inflicted upon the world by Wildlight Entertainment, a studio of ex-Respawn devs that has nominally been working in the shadows for six years to provide us with... this.

A Swift Kick In the Balls: The Reveal

Revealed at the shambolic 2025 Game Awards as the final announcement, taking precedence over possibly interesting things like Divinity 3, the well has already been poisoned for this game by His Dewiness Geoff Keighley, Orthodox Rabbinical Judaism be upon him. Taking pride of place as the final announcement of the night, hyped up as a secret project from devs who worked on That Thing You Liked Ten Years Ago, the subsequent reveal of a new Free-To-Play push the payload simulator in a generic sci-fantasy world has not gone over well with general audiences. As is so often the case, one can judge a book by its cover if one's read so much slop that it's coming out of one's ears, and the public is expressing its displeasure. Time will tell if the 'gaming community' takes its usual course of cucking out and going "erm it's ackshually good, guise!" or if six years of development will lead to another game/studio closure.

The Content, Such As It Is

There's not much information about the game yet, as the trailer and a shop blurb remain the only sources of information. Do you even care, honestly?

As far as I'm able to glean, the game is set up as a multi-stage payload-pusher, maybe with MOBA-style elements on top of that, with environmental destruction and horse riding sprinkled in like pepper on a cake. Push a large battering ram with a pantherine head to the barrier and pussy smash your way to victory to claim The Match McGuffin while shooting your fellow F2P suckers. The gimmick, I believe, is that it's set on a large enough map to necessitate fast travel on horseback, and the objectives might or might not change between stages. Evidently, the team behind this game felt this was worth spending six years of their life on.

Just kidding. Here are some other environmental stills.

Set for a drop on 01/26/2025, the game that will cement Geoff Keighley's place in the Circle of Fraud, possibly even Betrayal, is the latest nail in the coffin for any hope of Rooty Tooty Mecha Shooty 3 returning, and is by its very nature a poison pill Respawn fans will have to swallow. Come and laugh as the suffering not only continues, but transforms.

Two questions: has a game other than Dota 2 managed to steal away players from a game it was aping, and what use is having 'from the makers of Titanfall' when both games sold like dogshit?

Combined with it being a Live Service Hero Shooter in the Year of Our Christ 2026, it'll surely be forgotten about a week after it launches.

If there’s one thing I can maybe credit them for, at least the character models aren’t eye gougingly hideous like Concord. At least as far as I can tell for now.

if we are being realistic it looks like a "better" graphically looking paladins. The minute I saw the horses I felt like that is what they are aping.
