Raw honey has all sorts of panacea qualities attributed to it, and it's overpriced because the honey companies have figured out that fad health dieters will pay lots of money for it. Despite all that, it does taste a lot better than processed honey because it has pollen and other stuff in it, so I use it.

Royal jelly though, blech. It's a fad health food too, but unlike raw honey it tastes horrible.

imitation crab is my guilty pleasure-- i used to be convinced it was something vile (well, the super cheap, sugar-heavy kind is), but now i love it.

The ultimate bee-related health-food fleece is propolis.

I probably had royal jelly as a kid. It came in ampules that you must snap open and put a tiny straw in. I don't remember how it tasted but I'm sure it wasn't cheap.

I do keto/low carb shit all the time and once tried a recipe for pancakes with coconut flour and the result was a total abortion. I couldn't finish eating one of them and I made them as silver dollars.

I'm lucky that I live in an area where we have almost the same amount of hobby farmers selling honey as people selling eggs. Unprocessed honey tastes way better, it's like mrs.Butterworth vs grade 2 maple syrup.

Same. I go crabbing frequently and imitation crab is awesome (but it's own category). My fav recipe;
Shredded fake crab
mayo
Fine diced red or sweet onion
pepper
cheddar cheese

Throw everything but the cheese in a bowl and mix. Put it on bread, top with cheese. Broil till the cheese gets bubbly.
