I'm European, our school system is very different. There is no long lunch break (ours was like 15 minutes), the school I went to had no cafeteria and everyone brings their own lunch, which is usually just sandwiches and there were almost no extracurricular activities to enroll in because all that is done separately from school here. After your classes are finished you go home to eat lunch and do homework and then go to whatever activities your parents put you in (I went to dance classes). School here is very much focused on education and not socializing.
