Just like with WOW (World Of Warcraft) and Halo, there have been series that have risen up to overthrow the giants from their thrones. but as the saying goes, "if you strike at the king, you better not miss" and boy, did those titles miss alright. now it seems Overwatch is the next "king" getting shoot at (ironic, considering the game already shoot itself in the head lol) with titles after titles being made and shut down in less in a year.

Hyenas is the latest title to strike at the king and, well, i let you be the judge



honestly, who asked for this? another boring ass SLOP team shooter that's trying to be as divers as possible for that sweet ESG money (you cant lie too me, that women in clown make-up, is a DUDE!)?

there will be a closed BETA in august 31.

I would really like to know what the fuck the brainthinking was going into this. As far as I heard, they pulled people from the Total War games, including cash cow Total War: Warhammer that has been established for years for this shit.

Then they whack the price up for the Warhammer 3 DLC while producing a subpar product that seriously fucks off a large portion of the very loyal fanbase. All for a game filled with trannies and nigger females with glasses that gets canned the second it goes to closed beta.

Cannot emphasise how CA are basically kings of this very particular type of niche RTS historical/fantasy game that almost no one else produces with a loyal fanbase, and instead fuck that, let's make the most generic shooter and strike after the iron has gone cold.

CA would of been better trying to release a RTS or a MOBA game, you know a game where they have the knowledge and skill set to succeed instead of making Overwatch but for retards

Fucking hell, I know Volound may be a spastic but goddamn was he correct in his assessment about Hyenas and CA. The fact that they are still reliant on Games Workshop just to sell TW is fucking pathetic, it means they have no faith in their original IP because they have fucked up everything past Shogun 2 (and even screwed up modding in that game in their latest "updates").

Motherfucker, Wargaming, the guys behind World of Tanks and World of Warships can still survive even if they had collabs with GW and when they're done with them and yet CA, who are under the helm with SEGA can't.

I have to say its funny that a purported “Overwatch killer” is named “Hyenas” after a scavenger animal considering Overwatch is pretty much dead lmao.
 
Why are they even trying to make an Overwatch Killer? The game is nearly dead by now thanks to Blizzard's own incompetence, no need to shoot someone halfway into a grave. Not to mention that trying to piggyback off something generally viewed as shit will probably not go as well as they think.
 
I remember hearing about this one. The thumbnail makes everyone look like they have a severe case of cerebral palsy.

CA going and making TW: Pharaoh and this, instead of the much fan-requested Medieval 3, or a sequel or successor to something like Shogun or Empire, really makes me wonder just how dire the quality at their offices is. I could understand not doing another Alien game, presumably the cost of the license and the lower sales of Isolation steered them away (even if the quality was high), but why this? Do they really think this is going to pay off? Are the suits at the office just that out-of-touch? Or were there attempts at returning to the games fans want, that fell apart for some reason? The statements they've put out about how Hyenas is totally not affecting development of WH3 DLC reeks of desperation.

All I see when I look at this stuff is a studio executive rubbing his palms, imagining all that incredible lootbox money that the game could theoretically make. At least Medi3 would guarantee sales to CA's fans, regardless of whether it's a step down or not.

It's got a different names. "Citadel" and "Neon Prime". It's also the only interesting crap that TylerMcNigger has talked about in years.
It's a cross between TF2 and Battlefield set in the Half-Life universe. It's said to have voxel based destruction and maps so large that you need to take trains to get to objectives.
 
I'm not usually the first one to complain that they are deliberately making it ugly, but what the hell else do you call this shit? Who wants this? Even people who look like this don't want to be presented like this, that's why they use cutesy avatars on social media. Even if the game was good, this presentation is such a massive turnoff.
