As the resident Virginia Supremacist, I would like to welcome the Kiwifarms to Virginia.

Now, before we continue we must establish some definitions. Virginia means alot of things to alot of people. And most of those people are carpet bagging faggots around Washington DC which means their opinion is disregarded. "Virginia" is the Mid Atlantic region encompassing the entire State of West Virginia (excluding Martinsburg which glows in the dark) and Incorporating the State of Virginia excluding Fairfax, Loudon, Arlington and Prince William Counties (who also glow). with Fauquier County on probation (they are starting to glow). It also includes the Maryland side counties of Garret, Alleghany, Worcester, Somerset, and Dorchester.

Proper observance to how old the region is, is required. There are families who have lived in this area for 400 years. There are cities and towns older then existing European nations right now. The regional delicacies are the Virginia Ham and the Chesapeake oyster. You must claim to like both. Even if you don't.

Many of the counties that make up Virginia are rendered destitute by the opioid epidemic and the collapse of the US based textile industry and fossil fuel industry. A triple attack that has turned some of the most prosperous municipalities in America into ghost towns. To say that this is an angry region, which incidentally surrounds our nations capital, is a vast understatement.

So welcome to Virginia, you mad at the internet autists. Enjoy the stay, don't pee on the carpet and we got lots of abandoned mine shafts and empty fields to hide bodies of people who want to start trouble where trouble is not desired.

Did something happen to the .pl? When I try it on the clearnet I get the usual error page, and when I try it on TOR it says that "The webpage at https://kiwifarms.pl/ might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address." Did the Poolish cave to the tranny menace?

It basically started as escapees from when the /qa/ board got deleted from 4chan because troons. They raided /lgbt/ and that was apparently too much for the swindling gook faggot Hiroshimoot.

/qa/ was initially set up by the real moot and most famously used by moot for his farewell Q&A. And then they never shut it down, even though it was never a listed board.

It became a sort of secret /b/ for oldfags. The rules were pretty much ignored there, even including the nearly universally enforced anti-pony Rule 15, making it a haven for people trolling Barneyfag, who would often post stealth ponyshit on other boards and then announce it on /qa/.

Then there were troons and ecchifags who would also continually spam the catalog with their crap, and the main population we know from the sharty, the soyjak posters.

It was basically the last bastion of actual anarchy on 4chan before being wiped out.

And after that, the meme culture there has swelled and mutated beyond my understanding. I know how it started, but I have zero clue what the fuck it is now.

Back when Josh was trying to run an imageboard on the then-recently-mostly-finished Infinity Next code, I seem to recall this solution, or something very similar, was the quickest solution available to the pedophiles spamming the site with CP.

As I recall the pedophiles started slightly altering the images to alter the hash so while it stemmed the tide, it didn't work nearly as well as hoped. Mostly because it relies on the images not changing, while a pedophile, a pile of meth, a pile of CP, and literally any image editing program is enough to overwhelm someone who occasionally sleeps or has other things to do than inputting new CSAM hashes all the time and deleting as fast as he can.

That is nuts, I don't really like the Sharters but I can understand why they wanted out, 4chan fucking sucks now.
