It is really bizarre, I'm in the northeast but we are basically shit out of luck when it comes to ISP choices. I was on a mom and pop ISP for a very long time but their workers went on strike and the ISP went under.

However, I also can't access LOLCOW.EMAIL - in principle, it is a much higher priority for ISPs because email actually is a business use. Of course, I don't mean literal @lolcow.email or @whitegirlsfuckdogs.com (yes, the second one was an option). Something more like cock.li's @firemail.cc where there is a non-offensive website behind it.

Edit: That's also why CloudFlare will never be blocked or why domain fronting works - no ISP wants to deal with the collateral damage arising from blocking even a medium-sized CDN.

Religions require people to denounce reality. "Of course Jesus died for my sins and he rose from the dead." or, "All humans are equal. There are no biological differences between races," or "There is no such thing as a man's job. Women are just as competent as men." etc. Getting people to deny reality and gaslight society is a requirement of religion and it's the ultimate sign of submission, So, simply restating reality (Women have XX chromosomes) won't work because these people are chosen to deny reality.
