I know I am kicking a old as shit topic, but something really fucking funny happened to Hurricane Electric. @Null, you will enjoy this. Network Solutions, one of the biggest registrars for domain names, suspended the main domain name of Hurricane Electric, HE.net, due to a phishing complaint. This is their CEO coping and seething on the NANOG mailinglist, as no one at Network Solutions is apparently responding to them: https://mailman.nanog.org/pipermail/nanog/2024-July/225901.html

Network Solutions has decided to put our domain name on Client Hold due to
a single phishing complaint about a web page, which happens to just be a
page of information about another domain from bgp.he.net. Network Solutions
has been contacted, and refuses to handle this issue in ANY expedited
manner. Executives from Hurricane have been calling and emailing Network
Solutions for HOURS trying to have this addressed. If anyone has an
escalation contact at Network Solutions, please email it to me at
redhead at lightning.net, or rfishler at he.net. Thanks.

As Hurricane Electric is running authoritative DNS from the HE.net domain on ns1 - ns5.he.net, this means that as soon as the cache expires of recursive DNS servers, a fuckload of domains that are using Hurricane Electric as their authoritative DNS, will go offline.

Get fucked, Hurricane Electric and Reid Fishler. Happy 4th of July.

EDIT: This got solved 10 minutes ago, so their domain is back online. Too bad, would be really fucking funny if this lasted longer. At least we got a really funny email from their CEO out of it.
