It's nowhere near October, but one ensemble is already on track to be named the most controversial Halloween costume of 2015.

Social media users were out in full force on Monday criticizing several Halloween retailers for offering a Caitlyn Jenner costume reminiscent of the former-athlete's Vanity Fair cover earlier this year.

While Jenner's supporters condemned the costume as "transphobic" and "disgusting" on Twitter, Spirit Halloween, a retailer that carries the costume, defended the getup.

"At Spirit Halloween, we create a wide range of costumes that are often based upon celebrities, public figures, heroes and superheroes," said Lisa Barr, senior director of marking at Spirit Halloween. "We feel that Caitlyn Jenner is all of the above and that she should be celebrated. The Caitlyn Jenner costume reflects just that."

Sam Brinton, the beleaguered Biden official facing criminal charges for stealing suitcases from airports, is facing scrutiny about Brinton's dramatic backstory that one prominent LGBTQ activists suggests doesn't pass muster.

Brinton, who the Biden administration touted as among the first self-identifying non-binary officials in the federal government, is currently on leave as the deputy assistant secretary of Spent Fuel and Waste Disposition at the Department of Energy. Brinton allegedly took a woman's suitcase from a baggage carousel at the Minneapolis St. Paul Airport worth $2,325.

Brinton was charged in October with felony theft of a movable property without consent and, as a result, faces a five-year imprisonment, a $10,000 fine or both.

Brinton, who uses they/them pronouns, is slated to appear during a court hearing on Dec. 19 in relation to the case but the Biden official was additionally charged this week for grand larceny in a separate incident at the Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas where Brinton allegedly stole another traveler's luggage.

As legal woes continue to mount, the facts surrounding Brinton's background that helped catapult the activist within the LGBTQ community appear to be crumbling.

In a piece published Wednesday by the outlet LGBTQ Nation, prominent LGBTQ activist Wayne Besen examined Brinton's longstanding claims of being subjected to anti-gay conversion therapy as a youth, posing the question to readers, "Is Sam Brinton’s story too good to be true?"

"It remains an open question whether Brinton’s story was contrived or embellished to manipulate high-profile leaders to elevate themself into the upper echelons of LGBTQ+ activism and achieve a level of celebrity. But ex-gay conversion therapy needs no sensationalism, and Sam’s story, if truly fabricated or exaggerated, adds to that destruction by undermining credible survivor stories," Besen wrote.

Besen began Brinton's timeline with an 2010 interview where the young activist claimed when coming out to Brinton's parents at age 11, Brinton's father responded with a punch to the face. Brinton alleged years of abuse that resulted with several trips to the emergency room and claiming "My dad held a gun up to my head multiple times."

Brinton claimed to have been sent to a Florida conversion therapist for two or three years. According to Besen, "Brinton alleges this practitioner used aversion therapy, which included sessions where they were tortured with extreme heat, ice, and needles."

As an activist himself, Besen wrote he wanted to "work with Brinton to expose the harm of conversion therapy" and that he reached out to Brinton, who was "oddly inaccessible, communicating indirectly through intermediary LGBTQ+ activists in the Boston area, where they were attending MIT."

"The reason for Brinton’s scarcity had to do with two simple questions I had asked them: ‘Who was your conversion therapist, and in which facility did the therapy occur?’ This basic inquiry was critically important for two reasons. First, to share Brinton’s story, we had to verify if it was true. Second, Brinton’s testimony involved a torture center where hideous abuses were presumably still occurring against children at least as young as 11. If such a place existed, there was a moral imperative to rapidly identify the abusive therapist and contact the authorities to stop the atrocities," Besen wrote.

"Why was Sam Brinton the only survivor of conversion therapy I’ve encountered since 1998 who refused to answer these questions? Not only had every other survivor provided this information willingly, but they were eager to fight back and shut down their own therapist or ‘ex-gay’ minister."

Besen's inquiry eventually caught Brinton's attention in 2011, claiming providing answers was "simply not an option" since the trauma had brought "near suicidal tendencies," adding "and I simply don't have his name."

"Brinton’s reply raised some serious questions. If Brinton was in such a psychologically fragile state, why were LGBTQ+ activists having them talk to the media and lawmakers? Wouldn’t this be a cruel exploitation that put Brinton’s mental health at risk?" Besen wondered. "To believe Brinton, one would have to suspend reality and buy their explanation that they couldn’t recall the name of a therapist that, ‘for over two years, I sat on a couch and endured emotionally painful sessions.’ Does this sound plausible? Or is Brinton more concerned about keeping their story unverifiable?"

n a 2017 interview with NBC News, Brinton had claimed the conversion therapy's office was located in an Orlando, Florida strip mall.

"I checked with a top expert on conversion therapy in the Orlando region. He said that no known conversion office in a strip mall existed during the years that Brinton attended therapy. After the airport incident, I called Brinton’s mother, Peggy Jo Brinton. She told me that her child had attended therapy, but that 'it was not a conversion therapist.' She refused to provide the name of the mystery counselor, but added, 'I do love them [Sam] dearly. For the record, she also denied that Sam was physically abused or attempted suicide. Of course, let’s not deny there is a compelling interest in refuting these serious allegations," Besen wrote.

Besen highlighted other "holes" in Brinton's story, writing "A 2011 LGBTQ Nation story reports that ‘Sam specifies [their counselor] was a ‘religious therapist’ and not a doctor.’ Yet Brinton penned a 2014 piece for the National Center for Lesbian Rights that described their counselor as a ‘psychotherapist.’ The same year they told the U.N.’s Committee Against Torture in Switzerland, ‘When I was a child, a licensed psychotherapist tried and failed to change something I never chose.’ So when Brinton was trying to specifically ban licensed conversion therapists from practicing, they suddenly upgraded the credentials of their mystery therapist. Interesting."
He slammed LGBTQ organizations for elevating Brinton's profile without any scrutiny despite hearing Besen's own concerns and also called out the media for being "culpable in this scandal," writing "In countless stories, not a single reporter from the world’s top publications pressed Brinton to name their counselor. What kind of journalism is this?" He singled out Yahoo Life for failing to grill Brinton on the criminal charges during an interview that took place after the Minnesota incident occurred.
"Brinton should never have been given a platform by national LGBTQ+ organizations without having crucial details of their story confirmed. LGBTQ+ groups were sloppy, ethically negligent, and shockingly unprofessional, choosing expedience over prudence in turning Brinton into a national spokesperson. They were warned but didn’t listen," Besen wrote.

The Department of Energy did not immediately respond to Fox News' request for comment.

Cancel culture in Detroit goes after Ben Carson.

Education is the gateway to opportunity. It’s the medicine that cures most ails, and it is the means by which we equip our next generations with the tools they need to confront the challenges of the future. The schools we construct and the names of the individuals we honor on our school buildings stand as a good barometer for the sort of people we want our young people to emulate.
That’s why we are so perturbed that in mid-November, the Detroit School Board voted to change the name of the Benjamin Carson High School of Science and Medicine despite an administrative recommendation and student poll to keep the name as is.
Superintendent Nikolai Vitti, who recommended keeping the name, said that "history should always be recognized and that there’s an opportunity to make up for the mistakes of the past."

We, former staff for Dr. Carson at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, write to set the record straight and celebrate the incredible accomplishments of the good doctor, with the hope that more focus is shined on students and less on perceived political slights.

God damn WEF globalists comin' for our gudbois!! ( ..and cats as well)
You come for ma dawgs, you come for me

=========================================
The World Economic Forum is now calling for millions of cats and dogs worldwide to be slaughtered in an effort to reduce the “carbon pawprint” they produce as a result of eating meat.

The WEF, which has ordered mainstream media outlets to begin pushing the narrative, wants to introduce an international policy that would require the majority of pet owners to euthanize their animals.

CNN, always at the forefront in pushing the globalist agenda, has begun urging its viewers to starve their pets to death in an effort to combat climate change.

CNN published an article on their website recently entitled, “Our pets are part of the climate problem. These tips can help you minimize their carbon pawprints“. In the article, the liberal sadists at CNN argue that the meat-heavy diet of many household pets is causing planet-warming gases to be released into the atmosphere.

Responsible pet owners should trade in their best friend for a turtle for the planet. “Snakes, turtles and reptiles can have a really low impact,” CNN suggests.

Your kitty kat and pooch, CNN explains, are going to have to eat bugs just like you, assuming Klaus Schwab allows you to keep them at all in the future.

Bloomberg, another mouthpiece of the global elite, jumped on the bandwagon at the same time, urging pet owners to let their pets die to fight inflation.

Hollywood celebrity Emma Thompson has gone even further, telling pet owners to eat their own pets to survive the so-called climate crisis.

The proposed policy was met with outrage by animal rights groups and pet owners who argue that it is unethical and unnecessary. Many are also concerned about the lack of consultation with pet owners before such a drastic decision was made.

Despite the backlash, the WEF maintains that this measure is necessary as it believes reducing the number of pets around the world will help reduce global warming and other environmental issues caused by overpopulation. It also claims that the policy will help reduce animal cruelty, as it will ensure no pet is subjected to neglect or mistreatment.

The WEF has also come under fire for its lack of transparency in how this initiative was proposed and developed. The organization has yet to provide any evidence that suggests euthanizing pets will have a positive impact on the environment or combat animal cruelty.

However, if you have been paying attention to the WEF’s policies in recent times you will realize that this is not really about saving the world. WEF policies all have one thing in common: they dehumanize, degrade and mock us. They are designed to take away all of the joys of life and inflict maximum pain.

The campaign to force humanity to give up meat and subsist on bugs and crickets is a good example. A WEF insider actually admitted it is about “crushing the human soul.”

Why should the peasants be allowed pet companionship in the looming dystopia as a way to cope with the soul-sucking hopelessness and alienation? That’s what “ineffective and potentially harmful” psychiatric antidepressants are for, silly.

Then there is the depopulation drive, which was a conspiracy theory for a long time, but is now completely out in the open. They aren’t even trying to keep it a secret anymore.

According to these two WEF stooges, all religious groups are opposed to the World Economic Forum because religions want “more souls” and the WEF “wants less on the planet.”

At what point do we stop and say “enough”? How many times does the World Economic Forum have to declare their sinister intentions before the world stops and listens?

Klaus Schwab’s right hand man Yuval Noah Harari, who has a history of saying the quiet part out loud, and last week he admitted what many people have long suspected.

According to Harari, who was promoting his new book, the big political question of the 21st century is “What do we need so many humans for?”

And it’s not even the first time Yuval Noah Harari has let slip regarding their plans for humanity. He recently declared that the WEF considers the vast majority of the human population to be obsolete, useless and redundant.

The WEF advisor assessed the widespread anxiety among “common people” as being rooted in a fear of being “left behind” in a future run by “smart people.”

Such fears are justified, according to Harari, who spoke on behalf of the elites and confirmed “We just don’t need the vast majority of you.”

Of course, the mainstream has been co-opted by the World Economic Forum, and they will try to cancel you if you dare to speak sense about any of these issues. According to the mainstream in 2020, obesity is healthy. The vaccines are not causing people to keel over and die. And abortion is love.

George Orwell warned us about about these times. He said they would convince us that war is peace. How right he was.

Now they are trying to convince us that euthanizing pets is a way to reduce animal cruelty.

Only time will tell if this controversial policy is adopted by countries around the world, but one thing’s for sure: pet owners are not going down without a fight.

And nor should they.

The World Economic Forum has issued a series of chilling warning to the people of the world: hand over your sovereignty to the global elite, or face certain death.

This power-hungry cabal of billionaires and politicians has long plotted to enslave the masses, and now they are making their move.

If we do not comply with their demands, the WEF warns, we will face certain doom. They claim that only by handing over our freedom and autonomy to the elite can we hope to avoid the catastrophes that are looming on the horizon.

But more and more people are refusing to submit to the WEF’s tyrannical demands. Brave activists and rebels are rising up to fight back against the global elite, determined to defend their sovereignty at any cost, determined to protect their families and those they love.

Will you join them in the fight for freedom, or will you cower in fear and submit to the demands of the global elite? The choice is yours. But whatever you do, do not underestimate the consequences of your choices.

If you choose to stand up and fight, then welcome to the fold. I know at times it can feel dark and lonely, but the masses are waking up and the elite won’t be able to takeover as easily as they thought they could. Please like and subscribe to this channel so we can continue sharing the news that the mainstream do not dare to touch. And please share this video with anyone you think is receptive to hearing the truth. Stay strong. We will win this fight.

It is a boom for private players in the space industry as they are aiming for the moon and Japan is the latest to join the bandwagon. A Tokyo based startup, Ispace, launched a spacecraft to the moon on Sunday.

tl;dr Some startup worked with google to promote certain accounts when you search for rightwing "extremism" on youtube. One was "Beau of the Fifth Column" a hicklib anarchist.
Big surprise, also felon. "In 2007, federal authorities charged him and three Russian co-conspirators in a scheme that brought mostly young Eastern European women to the Florida panhandle illegally to work as maids in local resorts. King was sentenced to 41 months in prison, and he and his accomplices were ordered to collectively forfeit $1 million in assets. It is, he said, a period in his life that has shaped his views on the criminal justice system and immigration."
Though the real crime is he doesn't make an angry video about Kyle Rittenhouse going free and instead focuses on some cops who got convicted for shooting some guy.

King was sentenced to 41 months in prison, and he and his accomplices were ordered to collectively forfeit $1 million in assets. It is, he said, a period in his life that has shaped his views on the criminal justice system and immigration."
I remember this fucker. That's basically human trafficking. Motherfucker was a slaver.

These are your moral superiors.

Here's the actual indicmtment:

As with most of these scumbag operations, despite the mostly neutral tone of the DoJ's press release and the actual charges, the scam is a bait and switch where they promise the Eastern Europeans jobs and offer to get them visas, where the victims might or might not know the visa is illegal.

Then when they arrive, they hold them captive and charge them "rent" for living in deplorable conditions while pocketing their actual pay.

In short, this pious virtue signaling fuck is absolute human garbage.

Freddie deBoer has discovered the cathedral--or the Maw, as he calls it.

The Maw is, broadly speaking, the expression of the culture war as operationalized by the consensus opinions of media. The Maw is the aggregate of opinions of paid-up journalists and writers and pundits and, specifically, the opinions they will allow. When a big story breaks, there’s an initial feeling-out period where the media talks to itself and decides what the consensus opinion will be. As time has gone on, this process has gotten faster and faster, so that now the media consensus and the expectation that all decent people will glom onto it develop in a matter of minutes. What’s interesting about the Twitter files is that both an inciting incident (the Hunter Biden laptop story and its censorship by Twitter) and an eventual consequence of it (the release of the Twitter files) fell into the Maw with incredible speed. Immediately, in 2020, the enforced consensus within media was that there was no story to speak of regarding the Hunter Biden laptop story; it was not only not worthy of influencing the election, it should not have been reported on at all, and Twitter’s decision to artificially limit its spread was justified. So too with the Twitter files: as soon as Matt Taibi started tweeting about them, it seems, most in newsmedia were convinced they were unimportant. This is the Maw at work - it’s the expression of culture war in what the media sees as a respectable position to hold. In the Maw, nothing independent survives.

Levitz, like most people in the media who are not explicitly conservative, must play a delicate game. The game is to engage in enough nuance and care in your writing to still be able to look yourself in the mirror, to preserve some integrity, without getting right-coded in the culture war. Once a person finds himself on the wrong side of culture war debates enough times, they will be regarded as a reactionary no matter what their actual beliefs. They fall into the Maw. I am in almost every matter of substance you can think of a generic leftist. It’s difficult to name a single left-right issue on which I don’t land comfortably on the left. But I’m right-coded by the Maw. This has been financially remunerative for me but makes little sense as a matter of basic political intelligibility. The Maw shreds nuance and destroys complexity and, more than anything, forces everyone to constantly arrange their self-presentation in a way that ensures they don’t fall on the wrong side of the culture war faultline. I think there are a lot of interesting conversations to be had about the Twitter files and how they are being reported. The Maw insists that there’s nothing there at all.

I honestly didn't know where else to put this.

EctoLife artifical womb concept unveiling.

In late 2021, Elon Musk tweeted his fears about the end of humanity. “We should be much more worried about population collapse….If there aren’t enough people for Earth, then there definitely won’t be enough for Mars,” he opined. Musk’s statements brought the world’s falling birthrate to the forefront of social consciousness.

For nearly a century, fertility rates have been decreasing globally. The result is what scientists are describing as a “worldwide infertility crisis.” But there’s a solution looming on the horizon — artificial wombs.

In 2017, scientists created a “BioBag” that functioned as an artificial womb, and they used it to grow a baby lamb. Now, a new concept has been unveiled exclusively to Science and Stuff showing how the same could be done for humans. In recently released footage, Hashem Al-Ghaili shows what childbirth might look like tomorrow. Specifically, he created an artificial womb facility named EctoLife.

Its purpose? In an exclusive interview with Science and Stuff, Al-Ghaili says he thinks the EctoLife concept could one day supplant traditional birth. In so doing, he said society would finally be able to meet the needs of parents who are “tired of waiting for a response from an adoption agency” and those who are “worried about pregnancy complications.” But most importantly, he says EctoLife could allow us to confront the infertility crisis head-on.

Our need for a new form of birth

Currently, the World Health Organization estimates that 15% of reproductive-aged couples worldwide are affected by infertility. Indeed, over the last 70 years, fertility rates worldwide have decreased by a staggering 50%. Reasons for this decline include (among other things) women’s increased education, increases in employment, the high cost of raising children, and a drop in global sperm count. 23 countries are already at risk, with Japan, Spain, Portugal, Thailand, and South Korea at the forefront of the crisis.

In the U.S., infertility statistics are likewise sobering:

  • 1 in 8 American couples has issues with fertility.
  • 12-15% of all couples are unable to conceive after a year of unprotected sex.
  • 10% of all couples are unable to conceive after two years of unprotected sex.
  • 33% of Americans have turned to fertility treatments or know someone who has.
Replying to Musk’s tweet, the tech investor Sahil Lavingia wrote, “We should be investing in technology that makes having kids much faster/easier/cheaper/more accessible. Synthetic wombs, etc.” And that is exactly what Al-Ghaili was thinking when he came up with the design for EctoLife. Al-Ghaili told Science and Stuff that he was inspired to create the concept of EctoLife in order to further “the discussion around a technology that shouldn’t be ignored.”

According to Al-Ghaili, the artificial womb concept of EctoLife would be life-changing for many who struggle to conceive. “It’s a perfect solution for women who [have] had their uterus surgically removed due to cancer or other complications. It could also help solve issues that stem from low sperm count,” Al-Ghaili said enthusiastically, adding that the EctoLife concept (or technologies like it) “could ultimately make miscarriage a thing of the past.”

Science fiction becomes reality

Synthetic wombs might sound like the stuff of science fiction, but they follow in a long line of advancements in reproductive technology. On July 25, 1978, a baby girl named Louise Brown was born at Oldham and District General Hospital in Manchester, England. What made her birth memorable was that Louise was conceived in a petri dish, and she is the first baby conceived through in vitro fertilization (IVF).

Louise’s mother had a mature egg removed from one of her ovaries, and it was combined with Louise’s father’s sperm. The resulting embryo was then transferred to Mrs. Brown’s uterus. Nine months later, Louise was born. The Browns went on to conceive a second daughter, Natalie, also through IVF. In May 1999, Natalie made history when she became the first IVF baby to give birth to a child of her own. In December 2006, Louise followed suit, delivering a healthy baby boy.

Today, more than 8 million children are conceived through IVF annually.

The 2017 BioBag was an enormous breakthrough in artificial womb technology. The scientists behind the work grew eight fetal lambs for 105 to 120 days — about equivalent to human fetuses at 22 to 24 weeks of gestation. Then in March 2021, another milestone was achieved. Israeli scientists were able to grow mouse embryos for up to eleven days inside artificial wombs. What is remarkable about that achievement is that 11 days is over half of the full mouse gestational term.

Al-Ghaili says the EctoLife concept is just the logical next step. And he’s not the only one who thinks so.

“It seems probable that we are only several years away from testing [aritfical wombs] on human subjects,” Social Ethics and Policy Academic Elizabeth Chloe Romanis wrote in the BMJ’s Journal Of Medical Ethics. Meanwhile, Dr. Carlo Bulletti, Associate Professor at Yale University’s Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Science Department, thinks that a fully functioning artificial womb could be realized within the next 10 years.

EctoLife: Reinventing evolution

The EctoLife video shows that the first step prospective parents must take is having their eggs and sperm combined via in vitro fertilization. This would allow them to select only viable and “genetically superior embryos.” Al-Ghaili clarifies that genetically superior embryos are primarily those which are free from genetic issues that would result in miscarriage. However, he notes that the process could also be used to “screen for birth defects,” as is already common practice in most IVF treatments.

But that’s not all.

This would also offer parents the ability to “genetically engineer the[ir] embryo before implanting it into the artificial womb” through the use of the CRISPR-Cas 9 gene editing tool. This would create the opportunity to “fix any inherited genetic diseases that are part of your family history so that your baby and their offspring will live a healthy, comfortable life free of genetic diseases.” This may seem far-fetched; however, Al-Ghaili pointed out that CRISPR has already been used “to correct a genetic mutation in human embryos that is linked to a condition known as hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, which causes the heart muscle to thicken.”

According to the video, IVF could be used to create embryos before implanting them into an artificial womb. Credit: Hashem Al-Ghaili
According to Al-Ghaili, the EctoLife facility is also envisioned as making extensive use of artificial intelligence (AI), with one of its uses being to provide each baby with “custom nutrients tailored to their needs.” Another use of AI in the EctoLife concept would be to monitor “the physical features of your baby and report any potential abnormalities for deviations from normal gestation.”

Credit: Hashem Al-Ghaili
EctoLife could also enable parents to experience what their baby sees and hears through the use of 360° cameras that are inside the artificial womb and are paired with a virtual reality headset. These cameras would also offer parents a constant video feed of their baby’s development, allowing parents to monitor their child’s progress on their smartphones.

Meanwhile, speakers could be used to play a wide range of words and music to the baby, mimicking the sounds that babies hear while in their mothers’ wombs. “Parents could even choose the playlist” or play their own voices, so their child gets more used to them,” Al-Ghaili said.

Once a baby reaches full maturity? According to the video, the birth process can be “done with just the push of a button,” which will cause the faux amniotic fluid to drain from the growth pod. The impact on humanity could be profound.

Each year, around 300,000 women die from pregnancy or complications shortly afterward. But that’s not all. “We know that the constraints of the human uterus and pelvis have acted as a brake on the size of the human brain and skull. If freed from the need to be ‘born’ in the normal way, we might open the way for a new evolutionary trajectory,” Dr. Anna Smajdor, Associate Professor of Practical Philosophy at the University of Oslo, noted in a previous interview.

A Growing Market

Despite these potential benefits, the technologies that are presented in EctoLife will assuredly give some pause. But just how widespread are these moral misgivings?

The assistive reproduction technology, or ART, market is already large, and it is only getting larger. According to the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, the current cost of a single IVF cycle is $12,400, with the average couple spending $19,234. The largest market for IVF treatment is currently Europe, followed by the U.S. However, the fastest-growing market is the Asia-Pacific region. The market for IVF services is expected to grow to over $35 billion by 2030, while the market for IVF devices is expected to reach $10 billion by 2030.

Venture capital is taking notice of this growing trend, with the ART sector expected to reach $54.7 billion by 2028. In 2021, fertility startups received $627 million. However, by mid-July 2022, fertility startups had already received over $500 million, marking the ART sector as one that may be impervious to any pending recession.

Given these market conditions, it seems that a concept like EctoLife is all but inevitable.

Brave new world

In his play The Tempest, William Shakespeare wrote: “How beauteous mankind is! O brave new world, that has such people in ‘t!” Aldous Huxley used that phrase as the title of his 1932 dystopian novel Brave New World, which explored such themes as the dangers of genetic engineering and the use of technology to control society.

Al-Ghaili told Science and Stuff that he believes “we’re just a few short years away from creating a fully-functional EctoLife growth pod. As for other features like the haptic suit, VR live view, app connection to the pod, and AI-based monitoring system, these are standard technologies that already exist and are being used on a daily basis.” So, yes. In many ways, perhaps, we’re almost there. As Al-Ghaili notes, “It’s just about combining all this research work into a single invention, which is what my new concept does.”

If Al-Ghaili’s statements are correct — get ready, folks. Whether you like it or not, this brave new world will soon be upon us.

Oh and there is a video:
