inZOI - Korean Life Simulation game made by the makers of PUBG

I hope anyone considering this game will give this company their full support for listening to their community and taking such a pro-gamer/pro-consumer stance. This kind of behavior is quite rare, we need to do everything we can to support companies like this to show them that not treating gamers like dirty thieves is to their benefit, not their detriment.

(Plus, the lack of trannies puts this game literally leagues ahead of a number of recent, larger titles...)
nah fuck them. every company that gives gamers what they want ends up destroyed because gamers suck and will just pirate this shit. if you notice not a single company that has "done right by gamers" the last dozen years survives, best case scenario they make that mistake once and go full deepthroat on sweetbaby nonsense like KD2

Gotta admit I’m surprised at how fast they turned with that and modding. Then again, China and SK aren’t fooling around when it comes to games, so the devs might know how bad it will be to make a poor first impression.

I’m hoping they dig deep and learn about the charm of 1-3 and figure out how to do their own variation. That’s what will make them truly competitive against Sims.

Bad-ish news on that score. They can have gender identities, but it's much less in your face about it than the Sims. It's talked about in the video I linked above, pretty close to the start. The creator was not pleased, which makes me happy.

I started to notice that almost every single one of his videos had a weird and seemingly out of the blue sex joke inserted
Yeah, dude mentioned "getting railed" a couple of times and it really didn't fit the tone of the rest of the video. He wasn't happy with the censoring of the sex or the kissing I think, it's close to G rated, which makes sense because it's Korean.

Not a fan of how pretty the character models are. Makes them look... Soulless?
Kinda like mannequins or AI
It's a Korean game. Both Korea and China (either Mainland or the Island one) have this rather disgusting taste for a sex doll-like makeup and style in woman. It's not unlike the uncanny valley models you often see in modding scenes for games like Skyrim or Fallout. They just can't get enough for that kind of stuff

I remember hearing something about AI wasn't sure how much was involved or if any but maybe itll be good.

In the demo you have AI to use to create patterns for use in decorative or clothing uses, as well as being able to upload a photo of something and have it create a new object for the game. Both of which are optional.

there's also a very much experimental feature in the game that allows AI to control the zois in the world. That's also optional.

They look more realistic than the typical modern korean and chinese beauty standards, and that's saying something. Korea prefers their women(and men) to look like space aliens.

KRAFTON revealed the System Requirements for SmartZoi, which allows you to type prompts, and then Zois will act out with the said input:

AMD Graphics Cards currently will not work with SmartZoi.

That sounds like the title of a Sony-made Life Simulation game. The question is, which of Sony's studios would be most capable of making one, and obviously it's still got to be on PS4 so that PS5 continues to have NO GAMES.

i know its AI but whats the deal with these korean motherfuckers and their fucked ass system requirements

Since PUBG was never known for its optimization, perhaps it's just KRAFTON's lack of such with their games.

Wasn't it typically Koreans don't game at home but go to net cafes? So system requirements isn't really an issue for them.

Those are usually for multiplayer games, i.e. Brood War and League of Legends. I don't know if Koreans go to PC Bangs to play single-player games, since those would have to have cloud or online saves.

Nowadays a lot of them have their own PCs, if you have the space for it.
The system requirements made much more sense if you consider this not as a game but as a tech demo
Korea after all, like China, is betting big on AGI to solve their demographic issue hence why they're crazy about "AI"

How does the gender identity thing work in Inzoi?
I thought I'll finally get a non-tranny pozzed Sims game after all... But sadly, nope. How does it work anyway? There's non-binary option so that's likely for pronoun, but how does that work for character actual body? getting pregnant? and so on.

I guess The Sims 3 is still a great relic from the time before everything went stupid, and that one still has goofy-but-dark charm of old Sims still. It's mad that we're stuck with a 2009 game with spaghetti code that will still crash all the time even bug fixes mods because no one could do anything better.
While I like the realistic graphic of Inzoi (and hate the corporate alegria look of Sims 4), everyone being forced to look like k-pop idols felt like it'll be boring and stale. But I get it though, Inzoi and Life By You tried to go for a different niche from the 'cartoony' Sims and aiming for idealised realism. Paralives, even if it's stylised, is too cute for my taste, I need the ability to create ugly people and both Inzoi and Paralives won't satisfy that, and Sim 1-3 you could do all the weird people you want.

The Sims was meant to drain the white surburban girls dry. Now their marketing and branding is 80% people of color and troons, driving away the white girls.

This k-pop AI bait slop has way too high specs to get any play from the white suburban girls who are now looking for their next Sims, while also being too lukewarm to attract a new audience.

Every character has main character syndrome. Every design I've seen looks straight out or Arcane/Valorant/Fortnite. It is an e-girl simulator. Even the balding old men townies are halfway studs.
