I don't use discord and I enjoy shitposting on KF, a website that explicitly states it is for adults only. Other users regularly shitpost with far worse gimmicks, but they don't get called out which is interesting.

Likewise the PMs are stupid and inane, but nothing bad actually happens in them. It's just a bunch of people shitposting, sometimes RP shitposts (and I'm not even the main person doing that). This is a site where users have actually gotten together IRL via PMs and caused incredible amounts of intrasite drama and where other users have been credibly threatened in PMs.

My entire issue with 02's mod action is that it was vindictive, not that I'm bothered by the content of the post. It was undeleted specifically so it could be quoted and reacted to basically in the same style as a soundbite. He claims not to dislike me or even know me, but he has interacted with me before so I don't buy it.

Let's be real, I strongly suspect my recent criticism of KF is playing a role here.

I really don't believe anyone who says "But surely there are no minors on KF because the site is 18+!!!" As if you all didn't grow up terminally online and were in adult spaces as minors you weren't supposed to be in. Guess what? Today's youth does that too! The mods are not omnipotent and can only ban minors if they admit to being minors. Just don't fucking talk about weird sex shit with people on the Internet.

Perhaps than we should legally require ID to join sites like KF, much like is happening to other explicitly adult websites? It would solve many of these issues.

I'm well aware there are probably minors on KF, but if a site or venue is officially adult only you don't need to self moderate because "think of the children". If a minor is found they should be banned on sight, nothing less.

If I understand correctly, this is based on Discord shit which we all know is absolutely chock full of children. Here, could there be minors? Of course, but I haven't really met any. I think if there were, they'd be in threads I never interact in like about zoomertier gaming YouTubers. Almost everyone I talk to here on the regular is 30+ years old. I have no idea why a 10 year old would larp as a 43 year old married father of three with deep in depth knowledge of social culture and history from 25 years ago, but I guess stranger things have happened. So that's why I don't really assume anyone here actually is one unless they out and out say it and then Null usually bans them for it.

How hard is it to just not be a creepy sex pest with strangers on the Internet and instead either have sex with people irl or jerk off by yourself?

I don't have a problem if it is just all adults doing it in private. That's why I didn't say anything at first just was like da fuck and left the DM. I didn't see anything that suggested minors were involved or whatever, it is why the fuck did anyone think I'd be interested in a gay furry unironic ERP is beyond me. However, weirder shit has happened and not even in sexual contexts.

The issue with that if the data base was found it would dox us with ALL most of the info that you would need to ruin a persons life.
