About the Plagiarism scandal, Rolfe said not that long ago from that happening that he would never use somebody to write his script, along the line of "It's my opinion you come for, so it makes no sense!" and he was prepared to carry that lie for the rest of time... In come Newt to shatter that illusion, all of a sudden he lashed out at his fans for "wanting him to suffer" and refused to take any accountability for it.

But mostly people don't hate him, but relevations of how doofy he is has made him a great target for ribbing. That autobiography really turned the perception of him on it's head. Like from how great he was at taking drama by not interacting to "Holy shit, he is just so detached from the rest of the world so it was just a coincidense, he probably didn't know any of that was happening"

So it opened alot for the thruthers. how silly he is calling jsut anything he taped for a full fledged movie and silly stuff like that. How he liked to point out his book was in the works for over 20 years while it ment he fuckign started his own autobiography as a teen...
