See, the whole savior complex thing doesn't ring true with Jameskii. With MamaMax, his entire brand revolved (cartoonishly) around himself as a scorned prophet, the only person in a world that had lost it's way who saw the moral truth, but the motivation behind that was to blackmail people by questioning their opposition to pedophilia. Looking back, Jameskii's entire motivation looks like it was just to vindicate himself against Twomad. As in, fine, I'll fund your lawsuit, so that everyone can see publicly that Twomad is the evildoer and not me. Believe these victims, because they are saying bad things about Twomad, who everyone must learn to dislike too, because I sure as hell hate this guy!
You said Misty has the label of 'grooming victim' attached to her, and that's probably not unintentional - on the Internet, 'grooming victims' are no longer people, and are just hapless, delicate props that can't be trusted to answer questions.
I think it's funny how twomad got the last laugh in all of this.
I'm sure he's laughing just for different reasons. Remember Kiwi Farms is not the best place to gauge online consensus. From what I can see, if you exclude Twomad's fans, most people are either confused, or believe the accusations, in part because they took his Tweets literally.
You know what the most common responses to Jameskii posting his Google doc were? "TL
R,", "I can't wait for his response, har har" and "Who cares, he's dead."
I don't want to be a Debbie, and maybe I'm having a whiff of the 'tism, but I can't help but think there's a lot of calculated recklessness here.
- Jameskii sized on the narrative immediately when Twomad died, meaning there was no time to reflect upon his life as we knew it - instead it was replaced immediately by incredibly serious accusations, the kind that make Twitter people forget all about the 'not speak ill of the dead thing'. I think the sheer audacity of it shut a lot of people up too. The evidence that was lacking was less important than the accusations, the labels, themselves.
- On X/Twitter, there is no concept of degrees. Sexual harassment is very often conflated with or even just assumed to be rape. To the casual observer, the translation from Twomad's actual deeds to what's alleged will be easy to accept without proof, as you see in just that Tweet. For somebody known to be eccentric, this was not a difficult person to slander.
- Twomad, being dead for two months, is now as relevant as Jameskii wants him to be. Loads of people have heard Twomad is a rapist and a pedophile. News articles have run with it, his 'controversial' reputation is where it will stay, and nothing will go to court. And because on YouTube, bringing up a death months after the fact has optics considerations or even just bringing up the subject of sexual assault and suicide can put the video at risk. In fact, he probably never has to bring it up again.
- Of the two known victims, one DFE'd and the other, who disputes Jameskii's account of events, is a
14-year old who was recently released from a mental hospital, aka, not the person you would use as the star witness.
- His insistence on preserving the privacy of the victims I think is less about heroics and more about emotionally guilting people away from investigating any further - by implication, he's made it clear there's nothing further to discover, including from official documents. He can also justify bullshit privacy takedowns of other people's videos, as opposed to copyright claiming, which would really set people off.
Right now, Jameskii doesn't have to prove anything. All he had to do was introduce these claims of rape and pedophilia alongside the documented shit Twomad had already done and said, cover his own ass, and let Twomad's body hang by his own Internet history. I see people on Reddit, more skeptical, but still parrot the pedophile claims - again, with stuff that Twomad himself said. It barely even needed to be a majority of people to buy into it.
I think it's like pretending to be Danish despite having a strong Russian accent, and banning everyone who ever speaks Russian to him or blowing off the victims of the accused who are telling you to back off: I'm assuming it's the same pattern of lying in plain sight and utter ruthlessness. The second his hated enemy died, he seized control of the narrative, headed off any criticism with stunning accusations, and has effectively locked down the subject from discussion with technicalities and guilt-tripping . It's ridiculous, laughable, makes no sense, and yet, combined with what we already know about that Twomad guy, it's a story
just outrageous enough to be true - if you know what's good for you and don't ask questions. It's very...well,
Russian.
But I've been wrong about this guy before, so we'll see. I'll be surprised if this goes much further.
