Yes, I remember hearing about something similar a while ago. As far as I remember, a man and a woman tortured their 8(?)-year-old son for days because they thought he was gay. The little boy ended up dying.

Once these freaks convince themselves through any number of arbitrary reasons of their kid's identity, that child has no chance. It either ends in torture and death or complete mutilation of the child's body.

It's difficult to think about just how depraved, how evil all these people are (for different reasons of course). Humans really are fucked

It's also when the heavy hitting dysphoria tends to first manifest, and the first time you have a reason to consider any of this at all. In a twisted way, it's a pretty important part of the whole thing, psychologically speaking - and surprise, surprise! Skipping it altogether has physical consequences!

WPATH is mostly a troon support group, with a few trans social workers and trans counsellors, etc. Some of its members push beyond the Standards of Care, then once they establish a new practise, they change the standards of care to match. It's a feedback loop.
