I was actually rethinking my claim they make 3k a month. As I type this, Kabier has 1.2k earned 'per comic page or HD render' and I see 5 major updates for the month of February https://www.patreon.com/kabiercomics/posts?paidForByPatrons=true. I thought Patreon put a stop to people abusing updates to m.ilk patrons, but I'm still not so sure how many updates you can do per month and get paid.

Regardless, I still do not think Patreon is sustainable in the long run.

Patreon let's users set a cap per month for update based things to prevent abuse. I think she's doing about one page a week.

It's sustainable short term as long as she keeps making comic pages. But considering she's no longer allowing them on e621 and her constant drama issues it's only a matter of time before she begins losing steam. One bad comic or stirring shit with the wrong popular artist and the numbers will tank again.

She could always do commissions but there's a reason most successful artists get out of the game or have legitimate side projects after a few years.

The only thing in their favor is how autistic furries are so they'll keep funding shitty comics forever or until the next popular artist comes along.
