I'm glad to see a spotlight regarding SKG on the front page despite the context, I'm really hoping this bit of momentum is what helps sky rocket further attention but only time will tell (I'm not particularly optimistic but here's hoping).

Probably doesn't need to be echoed here, but I cannot express how much I hate this faggot after reading more about him in the OP, I remember seeing some of his shorts but didn't particularly care about him and then I heard about the OnlyFangs shit that spotlighted him as a fuckwad. The risk assesment up till now may have just been too daunting. Mald has had a huge platform, deep connections to high places in the gaming industry, and seemed to be forming even more backroom connections in areas like Vtubing; he was actively courting huge names like Ironmouse and her clique that seemed to be very receptive to him, which would have added even more weight to throw around in any online slapfight.

I think the WoW thing was the first real chink in his armor. It was too niche for normies to care but people more tapped into the tech and gaming industries with the background and attention span for that kind of drama probably made a big point of remembering that this is who Mald really is, it pulled the wool off the eyes of a lot of his 'peers' in gaming and content creation. After that, it was just a matter of waiting for something big that could have enough engagement outside of the very online users to make it worth going to war over.

It helps that Ross Scott is a genuinely chill and polite dude, with a long youtube history of good content and rants about game preservation that show he's passionate about it and not just grifting. Imagine if Mr. Rogers blew up at someone, wouldn't you think damn what did you do to get that guy mad, and when you find out that dude is an total douche it just makes you want to go after him with more fervour than you would normally.

If this was between two people with equally dubious personalities (H3 vs Idubbz) people who rather grab the popcorn and let them fight. That's not the case with Ross vs Mald.
