Unlike Thor, I'd find some enlightnement from Jonathan Blow's livestreams. Despite The Witness being very pretentious, I think a lot of his takes seem reasonable.
It's the same as any other 2.5D game to give the illusion of depth. He's either just bought something off the game maker marketplace or has followed one of a dozen tutorials and claiming he's achieved something of note.
Surprised he didn't play the "I have long covid" card which he uses to excuse not doing any work between 2020-2022. He'd be done if he actually focused on the core game and not his superficial in-game ARG tangents.
Well, as a software developer at least, Blow is the real deal. His game design I can live without, it often feels mean-spirited in an underhanded way, but maybe that's just me. Far be it from me to call anything pretentious, mind.
Funny enough I've heard NOTHING about the ARG outside of Thor's own mentions. Aren't there sites devoted to breaking down ARGs? Or is it just that uninteresting?
Casey is doing computerenhance.com, I don't know if he's involved with Pirate Software in anything besides one-off appearances. Prime was supposed to start a podcast with Pirate but I don't know the status of that, from a search of YouTube I can't find anything.
Something similar happened to me, the dude started to appear on shorts and he reminded me of Adam from YourMovieSucks and it look like I was right at the money with this faggot.

To be fair, he recently did a livestream where he was sponsored by Mihoyo to play Zenless Zone Zero, even if he claims he doesn't particularly like live service games. That game is okay (setting aside monetization for a moment), but the fact that he went ahead and took a sponsorship says a lot about his own interests.
He’s also stated in his ZZZ stream he likes Genshin over Breath of The Wild, because Genshin “has more content” than BoTW.
This really bears emphasis. If it had just been his criticism of the project, I could have been like "oh, maybe he doesn't get it, or didn't really bother to read over it, or whatever" and considered it a oneoff. It's the fact that he decided to reject Ross's invitation to discuss thing, delete the comment, and call him disgusting that really raised alarms for me. I mean, trying to demonize ROSS of all people, and for the high crime of being realistic about how politicians think! If he had tempered his reaction just a little, I feel a lot of this scrutiny may not have happened.
The Heartbound wiki has the solutions to the ARG which links to discord of just under 200 users. So a very small subsection of his audience is interacting with this content.
It's pretty obvious why he doesn't want to even communicate with Ross as Ross has made it clear why he made that argument about politicians. Ross is not part of the initiative and has no role in it, he's an American and won't in any capacity be involved with politicians. Nothing about his argument was for convincing politicians. What he was doing was trying to convince viewers to actually consider this as a potential opportunity instead of the doomer "that will never work" mentality. Thor is either too stupid to realize this or he's a massive retard about politics (both of which are potentially true).
